Saw the ground and plants moving right in front of me today. I couldn’t believe it. It was in one of the small raised beds I just started. i took a rake and scraped the dirt where it was happening. It stopped but I didn’t find anything. Later this afternoon I saw it again. Ground moving a tomato plant shaking. I stuck a small stick in the ground it stopped. Saw nothing a small earth worm came to the surface. What is happening? Is it moles? Is my dirt possessed?

3 killed at gun store/range
TennesseeCamper replied to Erik88's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
It’s a tragedy and a terrible loss for that community. Prayers for Richard Hawk and family. I hope justice is done. -
I think those law enforcement surplus glocks are still a good buy. I have looked hard at them for years. If I were younger I think it’s a great purchase. I don’t really want any new calibers now and I think I should be moving the other direction and thinning the herd. I find the gen 3 to be perfect for me. All that said those .45 Glock 21s are awe fully appealing!

Never seen anything quite like that! One very lucky teenager!

TennesseeCamper replied to Hehehmule's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
I bought two 1851s from midway one .36 and one .44 , both pietta. Also extra springs. I look forward to shooting them. Waiting for my range to open when they finish maintenance. -
My neighbor seems be driving their electric plug in a lot more now.

Really good time to be driving that hybrid, electric or French fry oil bio fuel car!

I believe the first one that I owned was the P89. Good luck in your continued hunt for the P85.

Good find! Does this one finish the collection?

You can take one of the approved online courses for the course cost of between $19 to $39. They are all listed on the state web site. I don’t know of a free one. If I find one I will post it.

Question about police parked on the side of the road at night
TennesseeCamper replied to jeff43's topic in General Chat
Bingo! I’ve seen them many times on I-40 going to Memphis. The counties sheriffs and local jurisdictions use the assets they seize for their department budgets. -
UPDATE AS OF FEB 8, 2022 The range remains temporarily closed. A recent safety inspection revealed the need for extensive repairs to the pistol and rifle berms. As such, the pistol and rifle ranges will remain closed while we plan for and execute the repairs. We are working diligently to reopen the trap/skeet fields and archery as soon as possible. The sporting clays and 5-stand will likely take more time to reopen, but it should be operational later this spring. We appreciate your continued patience.

Memphis and North Mississippi, get ready for power outages
TennesseeCamper replied to Dirtshooter's topic in General Chat
My brother lives in Bartlett, the house was my mom’s. A giant oak tree in the front yard dropped some big limbs. Apparently it was too close for comfort. That tree is finally scheduled for a trimming. He said nothing about the huge old hickory trees in the backyard. -

Memphis and North Mississippi, get ready for power outages
TennesseeCamper replied to Dirtshooter's topic in General Chat
Both my brothers had tree limbs down, power was out for the one in Germantown for a while and then back on. My brother in Bartlett had power flicker on and off. -
I have one just like it. It is reliable and built like a tank. Mine is primarily used as a nightstand gun with light mounted. Never had an issue with it.

Exercise and keeping track of what you eat can help with maintaining current weight or losing pounds. Just adjust your calorie goals. Two apps help and they are completely free. Under Armour app Mapmyrun or walk or whatever you choose, log your exercise, it will sync with the app MyFitnessPal. (you log your daily meals). Set a weight loss goal based on your exercise level and calorie level. If you try these apps and stick to it you will see results. Make sure you check with your doc before starting an exercise or weight loss program. If all else fails consult a weight loss physician. I used to run or jog for exercise when I was younger. I mostly walk or bike now. I have had pretty good results using the two apps. You can exercise all you want but if you don’t track your food intake you won’t have much success.

I promise you, I don’t want or need a new caliber. Resupply of common ammo is pricey enough.

I totally get this, my lab is on the fire place mantle. It brings me some comfort to know he is nearby.
