Seems like a good single mode flashlight is harder to find these days. I want to click the button and know it is on the brightest setting and no strobe option. Guess I'm old fashioned.

I just installed the Ameriglo CAP sights on my Glock 17 a couple of months back and they are impressive. Makes me enjoy shooting it again. I'll have to check out the TFX Pro's.

Training with Randy Harris and Tiger McKee's carbine training. Get back into competition--haven't been competing for several years. Still on the search for the best sights for my seasoned and experienced eyes. RMR's are looking better every year.

I saw on the news that security was wanding people attending the Nashville fireworks show at some location downtown--but they were not specific. Just wondering if anyone went and could tell us what actually happened as far as banning weapons.

I was able to get my hands on one at a local gun store and I was surprised--it did have a great trigger. Very good reset. This one definitely didn't feel like a 10 lb trigger pull--felt more like a 4 lb pull. Overall, much better trigger than my stock Glock 17. I have to say, it didn't "wow" me with how if fit my hand, so I'll just keep saving up for something else right now--like better sights for my seasoned and experienced eyes!!!!

I would take it. I've had no issues checking a firearm this past year. However, I don't carry my most expensive firearms either!! I have a police trade in that works great, but looks pretty rough--that is my travel piece.

I just have to shake my head sometimes--just got back from the DMV to renew my license and handgun permit. I had to bring up the website shown above to show the lady what I am supposed to be paying for a renewal!!!

I've been saving up for Glock 19, but I really want to check this out first. I still shoot my CZ P07 better than any handgun I own.

I grew up shooting 1911's, Beretta 92's and Glocks, and I still enjoy shooting them, but I drank the CZ kool aid a few years back and carry a P07 most of the time. Now I have several CZ models on my short list to purchase-- CZ75 compact and a Rami are at the top of the list. Just about any CZ I shoot seems to be just an extension of my hand and I shoot them more accurate than any of my other handguns.

Alan Gottlieb and Alan Gura of the Second Amendment Foundation are like master chess players in the judicial realm especially in the fight for the 2nd amendment. I fully support their efforts as much as possible.

I know some of the Barrett family and I doubt they are much concerned about the loss of revenue in range fees. They are passionate about gun rights and the NRA. I would be surprised if they change their stance.

Just had a talk with my daughter about the real purpose of Memorial Day. It's going to be a tough day for many families.
