I used to work in H'ville and that is just their officers doing what they do best....bothering people who aren't doing a thing. I got stopped one morning in the parking lot of my place of employment (with my company shirt and hat on) and questioned on my activities. I told them I was heading into work (while pointing at my hat) and they said "where do you work, and why are you here so early?" They ended up letting me go on, but I thought it was silly to stop me without any reason whatsoever.

I have one, but have not used it. The idea is cool. I keep it in my BOB.

I got mine from Lowes. It is fire rated for 30 minutes and has a combo dial lock. I know it's probably not the best, but for $300 I couldn't pass up a deal.

I refused once so they brought a stinky dog to sniff my car. I sat forever waiting on the stupid dog, then they ran him around 50 times trying to get him to smell something that DID NOT EXIST. After the whole ordeal I got a verbal warning for loud music and was sent away. So I guess if you refuse, they can still hassle you for at least 45 more minutes.

There are several security companies hiring in Nashville right now. And, if you are a student, the schedules can work to your advantage. best of luck.

Wow! How do businesses expect to compete if they cannot offer customer service? You can buy a gun anywhere, but you need customer service to really have a good business. I've been dealing with the "public" for 15+ years and have always treated others like I wish they would treat me. Definitely tell all your friends about this place and find a better, more customer oriented shop to deal with.

I have one that was $20 from sportsmans guide. It isn't the best, but I've worn it all day 4 wheeling and never had a problem.

I made friends with the guy at my local pawn shop. He also sells new firearms as well. After a few trips and purchases in there, we kinda got to know each other. This has been super for me, as he hooks me up with deals and gives me the truth about used guns he gets. I am not sure if this is normal for him, but I have always appreciated his friendliness. It has helped him make some sales, and has helped me make some purchases.
