  1. I need a sign that has a BIG picture of a gun in a circle with a slash through it. It needs to be posted between my waist level and eye level and right on the door that I am walking in. If I have to search for it, it isn't good enough. I think that bright orange or yellow would be a good color for my sign, but I would also accept any other neon/highlighter color. My sign would be so well seen that there would be no mistaking the feelings of the business regarding handgun carry.
  2. Long canoe, short car! I took it out yesterday and had a blast!
  3. The Andy Griffith Show is a favorite of mine and my family. There has never been another show like it and I doubt there ever will.
  4. Theres a place in Gallatin Tn that everyone I know reccomends, is that too far?
  5. Cashiers at grocery stores should start saying "your welcome" instead of "thank you"
  6. It is so hot I just saw a man in a orange shirt burst into flames.
  7. Absolute trash to disrespect our flag that way.
  8. The first guy I went after (I used to be a bounty hunter) was all tweaked out on meth. It makes people act so odd. A quiet, shy guy turns into superman. I cannot stand "tweakers" and I wish I knew a solution, but it is such a big problem I wouldn't know where to begin. I think a lot of it needs to be citizens taking back their neighborhoods. I remember as a kid, we had neighborhoods where everyone knew each other and watched out for each other. By allowing people to live any lifestyle they choose, it puts our families at risk. I appreciate police efforts, but they are not enough. Everyone needs to get involved in this! Neighborhood watch programs do work!
  9. Nice! That setup is awesome!
  10. Real cool, thanks for sharing!
  11. "I fart in your general direction"- Monty Pyhton and The Quest for the Holy Grail
  12. I carry the cold steel "finn bear" everyday. It is exactly 4" from the handle to the tip of the blade, but have never had anyone ask me about it. I also have a smaller 2.5" blade that I use for small cutting tasks.
  13. That is where the hammer comes in...
  14. I fixed mine with ratchets, screwdrivers, and a big hammer
  15. I have fixed mine Bolens twice. It is most likely the drive belt(as stated above). If you have some decent tools and a few hours you should be able to change it yourself. The most important thing is to get the stupid deck back on exactly as it was before you removed it. I learned this the hard way If you have any specific questions, feel free to pm me,
  16. There are several online degrees available that will give credit for what I call "real world application". I believe it is good for people who are great in their field, but have no formal training. As long as it is well monitored, I'm all for it. I did a lot of my work online, including researching my thesis. The internet is awesome!
  17. I now need to find a way to attach one to the top of my Honda Element. My wife would beat me if I scratched the car...
  18. Thanks for all the input! I am gonna hit craigslist asap.
  19. I drive an Accent. Yep, that's a Hyundai!
  20. I have been thinking about getting a canoe for my creek ventures. I think I need something small and lightweight, mainly to be used in small creeks, but possibly in a lake someday. Any ideas on what I should get? Also, do you have to register it like you would a boat (no motor, only paddles)? And lastly, does anyone know the rules regarding private property and creeks? I don't want to trespass, but I don't think floating by is exactly trespassing. Thanks!
  21. That's great! The tuxedo gives it a "classic" feel.
  22. Asides from "don't do that again", I would use either calamine lotion (stinky) or hydrcortisone cream(stinky). Both of these products should calm your itch.
  23. Trying to get an opinion on gear for creek wading. I never go in deeper than below the buttocks/hip high with most of my time spent in knee deep or less. I normally wear western work boots, but they always seem to leak or the water goes over the tops of them. I have been thinking of trying jungle boots since they drain and breath. Some other ideas I had were: rubber farm boots and waders. Does anyone have any experience with these choices? Or perhaps there are better ideas. I don't mind my feet being wet as long as the water drains when I exit the water.
  24. Reminds me of when I went to Kansas and went to a Walmart and asked for a buggy (they kept theirs outside). The greeter said the didn't sell buggys. I told her I only wanted to borrow one and pointed to someone pushing one. The lady said, "oh, you mean a shopping cart". And don't even get me started on the whole sweet tea thing...
  25. This is a no brainer (like zombies are no brainers, get it??) : Glock 23, cold steel finn bear, and the 50 yard line of the Georgia Dome is where I make my stand.
