I have the 88. To me it is comparable to the 870 i used to have. I didn't customize mine and think it shoots great as is. I had a 870 in the 20 ga model and have experience with the 12 ga version. I like both of them, but for the price the 88 is the way to go.

Tennessee has a state wildflower......You learn something new everyday. I wish I would have eaten it now....I guess I will go back tomorrow to try one. Thanks!!

Found these growing on a vine on the ground at the edge of some woods. Kinda look like passionfruit but I didn't think they grew in Tennessee. It was fairly round and about 1-1.5 inches in diameter. Any ideas??

My wife and I are planning to build a cabin in the next few years. We have looked at kits and non- kits. We will most likely buy a kit and modify it to suit our needs. We want a mixture of log cabin and stone house. Probably have stone accents on the front and as a foundation. I like deer run cabins simply because they come with everything needed for a decent price. I'm not sure how easy it would be to add the stone, but hopefully by the time we are ready to build I will have it figured out.

I believe people have a right to say what they want to say. If someone chooses to listen to is up to them. No regulation needed. I also agree with freedom of religion and think anyone can worship whatever they want to. I personally wouldn't make fun of anothers religion, but free speech is free speech. Seems to me like people get butt-hurt (hurt feelings) too easily anymore.

I like police, but they are "response" to crimes like this. Action beats reaction! That punk is lucky he got a bunch of college kids with knives, swords, and sticks. Had it been at my house, the results would have been different.

I agree. I have some old "mercury"dimes that are silver and a couple of the 1 ounce silver coins. It's not a lot, but if silver ever skyrockets like people predict, I could make a few bucks.

I know this is supposed to be safe, but I would have a hard time drinking even a drop of bleach.

Yes there is, Stinging Nettles Tea works great. Benadryl is jusy faster and easier to prepare (open bottle, swallow pill). As far as asthema, Mullien is supposed to work well. However I don't have severe asthema and cannot say if it would be as good as an inhaler or similar med.

Benadryl! Possibly one of the most important things in my bag. If I have a allergy attack I am worthless unless I get some allergy medicine in me. I wouldn't be able to do a single thing if my eyes were watering like I was crying and I was sneezing every other breath.

My 22 year old unit has finally died. The compressor locked up and I guess I need to buy a new, more efficent unit now. Does anyone know any good companies to call for quotes? I have a quote from Hiller and Lee company is quoting me today. Luckily, my unit picked the best time of year to break! The weather is perfect for windows up!

That's awesome. My son has been using a messenger style bag lately. I finally convinced him to get a hiking backpack, but that smaller pack is perfect for day trips.

The VFW has one every year in Portland (I65 exit 117). My son and I had a blast last year.
