  4. i wonder if the daughter can sue for being "ugly"?
  5. Field and Stream has a write up about this in this month's issue. Check it out, it seems to have been pretty accurate the last couple of years.
  6. My dad had a pond with a monster catfish in it also. My little brother finally brought it out with a jumbo dinner delight hot dog.
  7. That is one sweet zombie killer!
  8. Cattails are good, but I am very leary of eating most of the ones I find. It seems they are always growing near polluted water which means they are soaking up all those toxins.
  9. Teaching a class like that is my dream job, but I am a slave to regular work. I keep hoping my wife becomes a bank president so I can quit and do whatever...
  10. Did anyone have the chance to visit the NAIA pow wow this year? It was awesome. This horrible cell phone pic shows some of the fun. My daughter dances in as many local pow wows as she can. She can kinda be seen in the center wearing the pink ribbon dress.
  11. I was taught the easiet way to tell if a red tail hawk was mature was to look at its tail. The one in the photo has a kinda red tail. A fully matured one has a really red tail. I think that is the scientific method. I also heard if you put salt on its tail, you can catch it....
  12. Are zombie cheerleaders hot?
  13. Maybe a Thylacine a.k.a Tasmainian Tiger.
  14. Thats awesome! Just enough room for the bare essentials and stylish to boot.
  15. Oh yea. Great way to go. Too bad I am a wendigo killer and would bullwhip one to death.
  16. I have now watched 2 episodes. It seems like a fancy soap opera to me. If it were a little faster pace it might do better. I do like the local scenes.
  17. I gotta go with Winfield, TN. My parents used to live there and there is absolutely nothing around there,
  18. The inner seedy things are edible. No cooking required. I also eat dandylions, but not too many as they are a diuretic.
  19. Another of my favorites: walnuts
  20. After learning a new fruit the other day, I got to thinking about wild edible foods. Perhaps we could get some pics up of things that are edible that are found in the Tennessee wooded areas. My 1st find: passion fruit. I learned that these are the state wildflower and are edible. They have a tart taste but not too bad.
  21. I have a Sony soundbar. It is nice, but compared to surround sound systems I have heard it is weak. I have a small living room and don't watch a lot of tv, so it really isn't a issue to me, but if you already have the system I would keep it. As far as the wiring, have you considered running it through walls and ceilings? If you plan on keeping it a while it is worth it.
  22. My 1927 Dobro. I recieved it 2 years after he passed, and I will pass it to my son one day.
  23. Almost always. Very sad indeed.
  24. My top 3 Nashville resturants: Music City Flats, Whiskey Kitchen, Sambuca My top 3 meat and three: Arnolds, On the table, Pie in the sky
