Again, it is not the teachers fault because the majority of them want what is best for the children. It is the administrators.
Exactly, teachers are not allowed to "teach" anymore. They simply present a pre approved lesson that has been handed to them by the administration. AND, teachers wages are now based on student performance. Totally not fair if they aren't allowed to teach.

If people were that upset over the election, they should have gotten more people involved in the voting process. The people have spoken and Barako won. Try again in 4 years.

I was thinking that maybe those cheap wooden arrows might be good to have also. You could purchase a lot of them and not be upset if one was lost. As far as the shooting, I would have to let my son take care of that, as he is a much better shot than me.

Your prep stash is lost, everything gone... Now what?

With the proper skills, one could live in the woods and wait it out for quite sometime. The weoods across from where I live offer plenty of food, shelter, and water. I would wait in the woods for them to leave. The most important skill in this scenario is stealth. Don't make large fires to attract attention and don't take risks to be seen. Just wait them out. I don't believe it would take long for them to realize I have very little that is useful to them, my neighbors have very little, and it isn't worth staying around to look for me. -
I am torn on this issue. I am one of a few people who truely believe that we are all equal. Equality is based on equal opportunity. What one does with said opportunity is what makes the difference. Race has no dog in this fight...

TOO MUCH PORK Ingredients: 1lb roll of breakfast sausage 4-5 lb whole boneless pork loin Method:

Cut a pocket in the side of the pork loin. Set to the side.
Start BBQ grill (I prefer charcoal, but propane is ok too). If using propane, a medium/medium high temperature is ideal.
Brown breakfast sausage in skillet like one would brown hamburger. The meat should be browned and have a temperature of 165 degrees.
Stuff the cooked sausage into the pocket of the pork loin.
Tie pork loin closed with butcher’s twine.
Wrap in aluminum foil and place on grill.
Cook (turning every 30 minutes) for 1 hour 30 minutes or until pork loin internal temperature is 165 degrees.
Remove from grill and allow to “rest†for 3 minutes.
Slice and serve.
-
Don't just take my word for it, ask my thumb.

I made a trade and received this large utility style knife. Pictured with the sheath that i made for it. My initial impressions: I like the weight and look of this knife. It is large enough to handle any tasks, but small enough to conceal. I have used it to cut paper, plastic, bone, and vinyl flooring. It help up well under each task. The blade was super sharp upon arrival and I have not had to touch it up yet. The twist handle fits comfortably in my hand when using it. Here it is with a piece of bone arrowhead that I carved with it: I have only found one thing I don't like about the knife. The end of the handle is a bit too square for my taste. It kinda pokes me in the belly when I sit. I think I will grind the end a bit to round it off. Most importantly it unctions well in the can opening area: Overall I give this knife a 9 out of 10. ( I never give 10s) I am extremely satisfied with it and highly recommend Flatwoods Forge to anyone.

I will have to go with poop. You are most vulnerable whilst pooping. So you better hold it till you get some back up.

UncleJak replied to a topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Voting at a school, BUT they had covered the gunbusters with voting signs....I know it is still a no go but I found it amusing. -
Realistically, what are the odds going to be?
UncleJak replied to Tedro2022's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
As stated above, a gun grab is unrealistic. However, cutting off weapons is only one aspect of warfare. -
Well, that's one way of getting meat in the freezer...

Despite being a zillion miles away from you, I am too interested to pass up this opportunity. PM coming your way.

Sweet! Your knives are awesome, you should be proud. I'll be posting a review of mine as soon as I am done putting it through the torture tests....
How/why is ongoing tally already posted for New Hampshire?
I think it is where New Hampshire has those towns that do midnight voting. And They have like 10 voters, all of which have voted.

My friend just texted me and said the wait was 2 hours. I wish I would have voted early.

That deer is beautiful, it is a shame they killed it. I don't think I could have. Too rare...

As a father of two childern (11 and 7) I don't think spanking a two year old is appropriate. Small children do not need spankings, they need instruction and guidance. I have spanked both of my kids before, but it is rare and when I have it was done just to "sting" a bit. Some people disagree with spanking alltogether, but a little spanking never hurt anyone. My neice (on my wife's side) was constantly spanked as a young child and now at 15 she has very little discipline and ZERO respect for her parents. Spanking should be reserved for certain infractions only. I know there are always exceptions to every rule but this is how I feel. As far as reporting abuse, I have done this too. The child services people were not helpful at all. In fact, they said we did not have enough "proof" to even investiaget our complaint. I was so angry at them for ignoring a real problem. My solution in that case was to tell the parent I had reported them to DCS and they were being investigated (a total lie). It kinda worked though.

Not quite finished with this one, but had to share. The handle is a bear jaw. I made the blade from a old butcher block scraper.

Caster, i like your idea. I'm in planning stages of a small 600-800 sq ft cabin. Living simple is best. I don't know anything about codes but I'm sure it can all be worked out. Best of luck.

Was it stupid?, yes. Did it work?, yes. Would I do the same?, yes. I hate a thief!

Despite Sandy, Sentinels Stand Guard at Tomb of the Unknowns
UncleJak replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I think they guard it in order to hold at bay an individual's greatist fear: being forgotten. Every life counts and the sacrifices made COUNT. No one wants to fade away and be forgotten. I have lost loved ones and it seems like the world will never go on without them, yet somehow it does. So I guess everyone can fade eventually, but in those instances the family remembers. The unknown solider does not even have a name. The guarding of the tomb insures that despite not having a name, they will not be forgotten.
