1. Cool story, I usually just find snakes in the creek. I hope you get to keep the gun.

Holidays

I worked retail for about 13 years and it really turned me off to holidays. However, last year was my 1st year away from it and it was much better. I figure in another year or two I might be reformed.
3. Nice shots! I have never had luck in the same spot in the same month, let alone in the same day!
4. I've never seen one with antlers like that. It would make a very ugly )but conversation starting) mount. Congrats!
5. Best weekend ever, I am going to be posting a detailed review in the next few days. Spots is a top notch blacksmith, knife maker, teacher, and friend!
6. Brad Pitt and zombies? A classic in the making..
7. The one I go to is closest to center. AND you don't even need a gun. Many people are glad to share.
8. I can only speak for the one I went to. There was a guy who had optics on his and it was cool. He still didn't win.
9. I guess the big question I have is: what would occur if Barako did attempt to stay? Only 1 president have ever served more than 2 consecutive terms and I am not sure if that will come into play for Barako.
10.
Amen , I worked in a grocery store when they had REAL butchers like you probably are , and those guys taught me a lot . They have talant !
Yep, I apprenticed the old way. It got easier as the way we received meat changed, but the quality of the meat went down.
I just don't tell them what I'm cooking
I would do that, but I wouldn't want anyone to do me that way. I just hope people are open to trying new things. Most of the time they are not.
11.
If anyone knows a way to get back the time I wasted clicking the link and then writing this, please send me a private message.
Sending pm........ Just kidding.....
12. I recently received some deer meat and have had the same responses. Some people are open to try it and some won't touch it (and have never even tried it). I try to explain to people that if they will eat a chicken they should eat deer. Chickens are nasty little creatures that scavenge and eat their own kind( I do eat chicken though). I was a butcher for many years and know what quality is. Our creator put these animals here for us to eat and they will win any quality contest against anything store bought.
13. I switched to Bates 3 years ago and haven't looked back.
14. I agree with a lot of what he says. The only thing that bothers me: who defines what is moral? I personally think the golden rule is the most moral way to live. It is when this is modified that tyranny starts. Many evil deeds have been done in the name of a higher power or in the name of a greater good. That being said, Ron Paul is light years ahead of any other politician out there and I really enjoyed his speech.
15. I got the ones my son uses at Academy for $2 each. They aren't the best, but quantity over quality is what I was thinking. That may not be the best way of thinking, but he has a lot of arrows.
16. Looks delicious. I made deer chili yesterday. Congrats!
17.
Saving the world will never be popular until it's profitable.
Exactly!
18.
Now don't be to hard on Al... after all he did invent the internet!
I invented pants. But seriously, even "green" technology is based on the use of fossil fuels. Take, for example, an electric car. Where does the electricity come from? In many areas it comes from plants that burn fossil fuels. "Green" technology is not "green", unless green represents money.
19. I guess I am too cheap. I have the BSA red dot. I think I paid 25 for it. It works and I spent any extra money on ammo.
20. Keep the 870. I traded mine a few years ago and regret it.
21. Thanks, I may have to try my hand at this soon.
22. As close as this race was and not 1 vote? I didn't hit my head that hard when I fell off the turnip truck last night.
23. Looks like a holster to me! How do you go about "molding" it to the gun? I see you have the gun in plastic and I am curious how it conforms to it. Also, would this technique work on blades too?
