I do jerky too.  Top round is the best (london broil) and bottom round is the 2nd best.  I usually get the bottom because they go on sale often and i just cut them myself.  I use the hot and spicy allegro to soak.  It is delicious!

I just checked my "go-to" source and they have suspended all orders until they can restock. UGH!

While I do think that media, games, and entertainment are a big part of the problem, it is not the rating system that is the problem.  It is the parents who allow their children to play/watch despite the warnings.  Additionally, one set of parents controlling this is not enough.  ALL PARENTS must do this, otherwise kid will just see it somewhere else.  I do not think games, movies, etc are bad if handled properly.  But we cannot allow our youth to be subjected to this content.  It is everyones responsibility. 

I need one of these! And if anyone saw Spot's post where he shaved his beard for a job interview, he needs one too!

I got a free sample of this brand.  They sent me stroganoff. I don't like stroganoff.  Asides from that, it might have been good.

Spent last night forging. I ended up making 4 knives, with 2 being near completion. I also made some decorative hooks, but forgot to take pics. The first is a skinning style knife made from an old file. I put the handle on top of the blade to give an idea of what it will look like. The 2nd is one that I started with Spots and did not complete. It is made from a piece of coiled spring and designed to be used as a thick utility knife. The handle is the same as above, but actually belongs on this one.

I would not consent to a ATF check of my safe, house, or any other property without a proper warrant.
