  1. Everyone but me...
  2. Saturday, I took the kids canoeing at the lake. BAD IDEA! It was my littlest first time(she is 7) so i was trying to keep her at ease. The water was super choppy and the wind was blowing crazy! We put in and were instantly swept towards the dam (a small dam- not really dangerous). It took everything me and my son had to spin the canoe around. We finally got it going in the right direction and were once again swept back! He was scared and I was trying to decide what to do. I told him we needed to get the boat to shore, and fast. Several times we had to lean forward to keep the boat steadier from the massive waves! We got a few feet from the shore and could go no further. My son (who is only 11) was riding in the front and I was trying to power paddle. He bravely jumped out of the boat and pulled us to the shore through thick mud and crazy cold water. We finally got my daughter out and she never realized anything was wrong. What a day!
  3. Nice, I like the antique-look on the blades!
  4. Yep, there's only one way to find out!
  5. I have experience with the 22 version of that gun.  As I recall. the ejector rod held itself in via tension. If that is correct, it seems like yours is worn out.  Don't take my word for it though, it has been several years since i handled one and may be making this up...but it is a good starting point.
  6. Great idea, I think you can heat the straw ends and use pliers to crimp them close and still get the waterproof seal you are looking for.
  7. Great idea!  My son has been interested in squirrel hunting and turkey hunting, So I think it is time to get started.
  8. If you hear banjos, paddle faster.  Seriously though, I have done it and it was a great experience.
  9. Wow, I never knew any of this!
  10. S&W. I have personally messed with all 3 and there is no comparison.

  14. Don't go to the doctor and this will not be a issue. :)
  15. Some good points brought up here.  You should pick a holster where you can do both.
  16. I would like to go and find a few Glock mags, but I don't know if it is worth the hassle.
  17. I always thought "getting it out" was WAY more important than putting it up.  Additionally, concealing is pretty important to me so I am gonna say non-rft.
  18. I still am coated in ice, ya'll be safe!
  19. I did the same thing.  It was quite convienient.

  22. If I only learned one thing from martial arts, it was that anyone can beat anyone on any day.  I apply that to my life and realize that one person CAN make a difference.  It's all about good days, bad days, and determination.
  23. Thanks David! I am totally there!
  24. I can do this without using my degree. :)
  25. I don't even know what that means, but I like it.  RIP Noveske.
