  1. I totally want to turkey hunt!  Sadly, I do not have a license.... Congrats on a great hunt!
  2. One of my plans, if I get caught at work , is to follow the tracks home.  I have mapped it out and it would suck, but it is a possibility.  I have walked the tracks before and it is not easy and not safe.  I work downtown Nashville and the tracks that are close to my work also run close to my house, 50 miles North.  Walking is not a great choice, but if the interstates can get blocked by regular daily traffic, I know a SHTF would make them fairly impassible.
  3. Well guys, I fought the good fight.  This poll has been placed on 2 forums and facebook.  Due to overwhelming responses, it is time for my concession speech.  While I still maintain camo matches everything, I must now admit that my oponent may have had a point.  It seems that the majority of people do not like the " camo with anything" look.  It is with heavy heart that I concede the race to my lovely wife.  This loss will not be a complete setback for my cause; however, I must now get back to my core values and spread the good word about camo through a series of grassroots campaigns.  To all my supporters, thank you from the bottom of my heart.  To those who disagree with me, my respect for your decision.  And lastly, to my camo; I will never give up on you! Thanks and God Bless!
  4. I'm glad to hear they cycle in a pump, because that's what I have. I will try to get some pics of the effects.  I used regular candles and didn't even think about the scented ones!
  5. Shot and wax.  I made a "plug" of wax at the top, that is why you cannot see the shot.
  6. HA!!!!!
  7. I tried my hand at wax shells today. I won't be able to try them till next week. report to follow.
  8. I have been asked, and I conceal carry.  I guess people just assume..... I always tell everyone the same:  It is our responsibility as citizens of the U.S. and of TN to protect ourselves, our families, and our communities.  Be ready for danger and hope it never happens.  I also always recommend a good place to take a permit class near wherever they live.
  9. Nice hunt!  Do you eat them?
  10. Ok, did all this. It has the slightest amount of play when i move the barrel like i want to open it. The bore is good and looks like 3", but definitely 2 3/4. It is a 16 gauge Colombia. It also has a weird flower looking thing on the side that flips open. Here are some pics:
  11. It wasn't his gun...he bought it and gave it to me.  I don't even know how to test to see if it functions proper; asides from shooting it which could be dangerous.
  12. This was given to me by my grandfather. It is over 100 years old and seems to be in ok shape. i want to re-do it but don't know where to start. It doesn't have to look like the original either. I was thinking a camo stock, shorter barrel, re coated metal... Any help is appreciated. Here is a pic:
  13. Due to overwhelming"NO" responses, I pose this question: What if I was wearing this hat? (because I was)
  14. My wife and i are debating this...... I say camo matches everything, she disagrees. Lets put it to a vote!
  15. I learned by listening to 50s and 60s rock.  I love the guitar solos from that age.  I incorporated that style into bluegrass, blues, rock, or whatever.  My dad used to make fun of my quirky solo style, then after he heard it enough, he started to like it.  I have the weirdest style I have ever heard, but it works for me. My point (yes there is one): do whatwever you like to do and make it your own. :)
  16. I have made a few. I had some high carbon spikes (marked "HC") they still are not as good as other steel, but slightly better than regular spikes. I have 2 pics to share. The 1st one was made with Spots in his forge. The 2nd I made at my forge.
  17. I've messed up as many as i have made.  Spots told me it is normal.....
  18. The dude at comcast told me the combined ones are the way to go. I am looking for one myself.
  19. Is it weird that i think she is kinda hot?
  20. They both look awesome!  The second one reminds me of the marbles camp knife, only better and not orange.
  21. I have several of the cheap mylar ones from walmart. I used one once, it does work but it is very noisey.
  22. I used audio magix for years and it worked well for me. It is like pro tools but a tenth of the price.  That with a good mic and you can accomplish a lot.  Don't cheap out on the mic, get a condenser mic and you will thank me later.
  23. Awesome! I spent the day outside too, building the kids a debris shelter.
  24. "pee my pants and then take my pee pants and throw them at you!!"
  25. There is a case very similar from the 80s.  Look up "Gary Plauche"  If I was chosen for a jury, Not Guilty!
