  1. I love fresh eggs. Now i'm gonna have to get chickens..... That coop is built better than half the houses where i live!  looks awesome!
  2. new show "UncleJak; the polite and well mannered bounty hunter"
  3. In a few states a felon can become a bounty hunter. TN is not supposed to be one of them.   I believe my way of apprehension is far superior to the tactics of the rag-tag bounty hunters we hear about.  I treat people nicely and use my manners.  That usually works wonders.  Of course if that doesn't work, I guess I could kick the door in and get shot at...
  4. I have experience in this.... They may enter  the fugitive's  house, the co-signers house, or any house that they are certain the fugitive is in without a warrant.  If they are to do so, in Tennessee, they must notify local LEOprior to arrival at the house.  That being said, I would never force my way inside of a house fitting the 3rd criteria, that is WAY to dangerous.  If I was for sure they were there I would simply call the local LEO and have them open the door for me.  People seem to open doors better for them.  It is never a good idea just to waltz into someone's house.  (Especially Jesse's house, home of the M16!)
  5. Awesome, Congrats!!
  6. That looks delicious!
  7. UncleJak

    Would you go?

No way.  If God had wanted me to live on Mars, he would have made me a Martian.
  8. Wow!  Must be the cheap wool blanket i had...
  9. Everyone knows wool blankets are great for emergency bags, trunks, and general use.Everyone may not know how to wash one if it becomes dirty. If you must wash a wool blanket, DO NOT USE HOT WATER.  I seem to have made a tactical error and used heavy wash and hot water.  The results are not too good. My blankets are now ratty and have shed a boatload of material.  Afterwards, I went online to see how to wash them and saw I was supposed to use cold water and either hand-wash or delicate cycle.  These two blankets are currently drying in the sun and will become trunk blankets. (So I guess it's not a total loss)
  10. No, you want beef fat.   If you have a local butcher shop, ask for the fat surrounding the filet side of a t-bone.  It is perfect for this.
  11. It's always nice to let "someone else" get it.  In my job, as well as the OP's job, we are the "someone else".
  12. I didn't think it was funny, but when I read this post I understood your point.
  13. I don't want to sound cheap, but I bought my best suit at JC PEnny.  I have 2 other suits that I wear daily and the nicer one is for special occasions.  I am probably wrong, but all suits look alike to me.
  14. He is 12. My daughter (7) may or may not be interested, but if your daughter is close in age she might come. You actually showed my kids how to forge the nail knives last summer!  They loved it!
  15. I was actually hoping it WAS family friendly.  My son would love this.   I always like when kids are welcome so I can pass on knowledge to the next generation.    I can teach first aid and CPR, unless someone more qualified comes along.  I have experience in emergency first aid and have American Heart Association certification.   If you are bringing a forge, I can bring my RR track anvil and extra hammers.   I'm happy to teach anything I know, just ask!
  16. Will this be a family friendly event?
  17. Congrats on your new addition!
  18. I live in a small town and there are 55 offenders!
  19. Sometimes when the turkeys don't seem interested in a turkey call, try a crow, owl, or mouse call.  It might work...
  20. Sounds pretty cool. I would like to do this. Once a date is nailed down I can try to commit.  I have a wide background in a lot of areas and am open to teaching anything I know.
  21. We had chicks out at earlier ages than that before.  Like Richard said, as long as it is not freezing they should be good.  Chickens are awesome!
  22. So if I calculated correctly, this is my 1000 post on TGO.  I wanted to take this moment to thank everyone on here for being so cool.  Since joining I have had the opportunity to meet several members here, buy and sell a few things, and learn a lot.  TGODavid has a awesome thing going here and I hope it continues on for future gun lovers can share these same experiences.  I consider TGO members my friends and a extended family.  ROCK ON TGO!!!!!!!!
  23. I have always had my doubts as to if anyone would exert the effort to round all the forms up from the gun stores and compile a list. Seems to much trouble.  I do know that the ATF does audit gun shops and reviews the forms and such. What I don't know is what they actually do beyond that.
  24. Tennessee is the best place to live in the entire world!  With 3 distinct regions, there is something for everyone!
