She can now shoot rifles lefty with decent accuracy.  She was trying to lean over the rifle to look with her left eye whilst holding the rifle right handed.  That will never work!  I am trying to get her to do pistols both eyes open, right handed.

The 1st knife I made at my forge was on a sledgehammer.  I kinda forgot about it until now.  I have a section of RR track now, but use whatever you have that will work.

I saw a video where a guy had a 4x4 metal post set in a bucket of concrete, it seemed to work well.  Let me know how this turns out.

Thanks for all the great advice so far!  I am going to work with her some more and see where we get. 

I've been trying to teach my daughter to shoot.  She was horrible doing it how I showed her.  I started watching her to see what I had taught her wrong and noticed she is left eye dominate and right handed.  When I showed her to shoot lefty, she improved.  I think she would shoot better right handed but I have no clue how to instruct her.  Any pointers?  BTW, she is 7 years old so it has to be simple.

I'll agree and say if it won't fit in my pocket it is a big knife. Blade has to be greater than 10 inches and wider than 1 inch.

I think them guys will use whatever they can get their hands on.  I see where you are coming from, but I wonder to what extent we should limit our freedoms based on the stupidity of others.  A honest, law abiding citizen should have access to anything they desire.
