I had a group try the same run on me a few years ago. I told them to buzz off.  I didn't even open the door fully to allow them to look in.  I know for a fact they were trying to "case" the house.  I went to work the next day and told the story to co-workers.  The day after that I came into work and one of my co-workers girlfriends had let them in her house to do a "demo"(after he had warned her about my story).  There were four people in the house and all moving in differnt directions.  After they left she noticed all the cash was gone from her wallet.  They called the police and the whole deal, but that money was long gone.  Moral of my story: Do not let anyone in your house that you don't fully trust!

I have a BSA reddot that cost around $25. It is on my carbine rifle and has held up well.

1978 Ford Mustang. I paid $800 for it. It seemed I was always fixing something on it and decided to sell it for something newer that required less care.  I wish I still had it, it was so fast!

True that! But, if anyone needs help with ignition coils, I am your man!

My wife has a Walther sp22. She has shot larger cailbers, but prefers the recoil of the 22. She is not weak or dainty (grew up on a farm) but she simply does not care for recoil while shooting.

They fit!  I have a 88 and love it. I bought mine for 180 out the door.

I am confirming my off days with my work this week.  Keep fingers crossed! 

I normally take my cars to the dealer for any repairs they need. Yesterday on my way home, my check engine light came on and the car started running really "choppy". I was only a few miles from home so I continued on and stopped at my local auto parts store. They checked the code for me and it showed I was having a cylinder 4 misfire. I knew it would be okay to drive to the dealership if needed, and I knew that most likely it was the ignition coil gone bad. I have a warranty, but the deductible is $100 and the dealership is a hour away and takes time to get repairs and diagnostics. So I decided to try and repair it myself. For $117 I got a ignition coil, a new set of wipers, and a set of wipers for my wife's car. 45 minutes later, I had a repaired car with new wipers! There is nothing quite as satisfying as fixing your own car and not relying on someone else to do it for you!
