Spots was showing me a sheath designed to hold a huge blade the the waistband.it was leather with a brass "knob" on it that keeps it from falling down your pants and your belt provides the tension when you draw the blade. I have done something similar but with a regular sheath.  I frequently carry large blades, but don't really try to conceal them.

I suggest the Maverick 88.  It is interchangeable with all mossberg 500 parts and can be bought new for under $200.  I buy the 2 3/4 ammo from walmart 100 rounds for $25.  It is just regular birdshot (small pellets) but will work fine for self defense and hunting if you ever get into it. 

I had a great time this weekend, made a lot of new friends, and look forward to the next.  In honor of this, I created a few awards....    "Commando Award"- Timestepper.  Despite his crutches, Timestepper came out and showed everyone several primitive skills and held everyone's attention the whole time he spoke. "Sunburn Award"- Whitewolf001.  His arms are lobster red and will now be known as Whitewolf Red-Arms. "Wet T-Shirt Award"- Spots.  10a this morning, pouring down rain, Spots is wringing water from his hat and shirt! "Youngest Overnight Camper Award"- Bigbabysweet's daughter. Despite less than desirable conditions, several of us stayed overnight.  She was definitely a trooper for sticking it out in addition to holding UncleJak's attention in thought provoking conversation about The Little Mermaid and Aladdin.  "Oldest Overnight Camper Award"- UncleJak.  I know.....I gave myself an award.....but I was the oldest overnight camper.... "Little Mermaid Umbrella Award"- Bigbabysweets.  I guess you just had to be there for this one...  

I had a great time!  Thanks to Bigbabysweets for hosting this event!  I really enjoyed meeting everyone that was there and look forward to future events.  I have created some honorary awards for a few of the participants and will post it up in the general chat section for all to see.

I'm coming Sat morning. 

Recently fixed my wife's grandmas sink.  Looking at it, everything seemed to be in place. I turned the water on and it was like there were no pipes at all!  Somehow the part that attaches the sink to the pipes had been removed and the pipe was  just "sitting" beneath it.  It really was a simple fix, but I cannot figure out how it got disconnected; it seems like someone would have to had unscrewed it to get to that point.   I did this with a toliet and had the tank filled almost to the top before I realized what I had done!

I avoid doctors, so all of this is foreign to me....:)

I wanted to take my son (12yrs old) but there are no hunters safety courses within a reasonable distance from my house.  AND since I don't have a license I cannot assist him at all. Too many rules!

Looks sweet! I'm pretty sure if you fired a few off in the Highland Park area no one would think anything odd...

Great video! My son got to meet the Mountain Man 2 weeks ago and said he is the nicest guy and is just like he is on tv.  I love the show and love that it promotes family values!
