  8. Has to be 10 years old to take the course. If he is over 10, you can get him a "Apprentice License" until you get his HSC. The course is offered free statewide. I hope this helps. If he is under 10, you may take him hunting but will want to supervise him. Dave thanks Dave! I'm asking around for a good hunting spot now. He will be excited. sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee

  12. My truck I just bought has "roll up" windows. My daughter looked confused at the handles and asked what they were for. I explained that was how you roll down the windows. She asked where the buttons were. I told her the handles spun to let down the windows to which she replied " that's weird, I've never seen that before" sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee

  20. I have. Ive been bite once by a blacksnake when I was 14. I was young and stupid and messing with it and it bit my hand. Then when I was 18 I stepped on a copperhead and it nailed me in the calf. Went home, cleaned the marks, drank some shine and went to bed. Stayed in bed for 24 hours. Felt like shit, but no nasty side affects afterwards. Can barely see the scars now. The blacksnake made me sicker than a dog, had to g9 t9 the doc for antibiotics on that one. I always wear heavy work boots, and have had several strike my boot when I was catching them. Heavy leather boots are a good thing in snake country. Tapatalk ate my spelling. are blacksnakes venomous? sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee

  22. I've extensively researched mine and have a wonderful history!  I don't want to share my real name online, but i encourage everyone to dig a bit and see what you can find!  Ancestry.com is a great place to start and old family bibles used to have family tree sections too! This reminds me of when I was younger, my grandfather was giving all the grandkids their "spirit names".  I thought i was too big for that silliness. Pretty soon all my cousins were using their names and I felt left out.  I returned to my grandfather and requested that I too could have one. He agreed and dubbed me "Chief S***head". I did eventually get a real one.....
