  1. This is my new and improved bedroll. It has 3 wool blankets, 2 indian blankets, a sleeping pad, and it's all rolled up in a linseed oil treated canvas.I got the straps at academy to hold it all together. Iy weighs in at a stout 22lbs, but I guarantee I won't be cold! Sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee
  2. I have a couple kci mags for my 23. I replaced the springs but still don't have them fully functional. If I load them with 10 rounds they do better. I'll stick with the factory ones. I bought several extras at $10 each a few years back. Sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee

  9. interesting. I never mind what I'm called. It's all semantics. I know who I am and what I do, people use all kinds of words to describe it; that's just human nature. As far as ol' PDR...it is a shame we had to wait this long for the families to receive justice. Sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee

  11. I prefer the one pistol so I have a free hand to point to my sign, but whatever floats your boat. Sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee
  12. all true. You may however have a firearm in hand pointed in a safe direction while answering the door or while on your property. And it gets the point across nicely. Sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee
  13. I have one on my porch beside the front door that says "trespassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again". I have pointed it out to door to door salespeople. :) I answer my door armed, because I know I didn't invite anyone over. I had a guy knock at 8p the other night. I answered the door pistol in hand. It scared him pretty well, but he managed to attempt his "sales speech". I asked for his door to door permit. I was astonished when he actually pulled one out! I thanked him for his courtesy and politely sent him on his way. He didn't see the sign, but he saw the glock. :) Sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee
  14. I switched to .40 several years ago, but still get better grouping with 9mm. Sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee
  15. More recently I have become interested in this. I found out my grandfather (2-3x great) fought in the NC infantry for the Confederate. I don't know too much but would love to tour a few of the battlefields. Last week I toured the cold springs schoolhouse that was used as a hospital for camp trousdale. It was interesting but didn't have a lot to offer. Sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee
