I carried without a permit for several years. I never got caught but as soon as I realized I could get a permit and join the ranks of law abiding citizens I did. I suggest you do the same. Sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee
I made one like the video over Christmas, but I didn't work very well. I was using 70% rubbing alcohol and while it would burn fine open, it would go out in short order when I put anything on top of it. I finally bothered to get some more pure alcohol (it's at least 90%) and it works like a charm. No change to the stove itself, just better fuel. Though I'd recommend you take the label off the soup can before you sit it on the stove. Particularly if you're doing this on your work bench in the garage. :)
I think that may be my problem. I'll try better fuel before I trash the one I made. Sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee
I really am not trying to :stir: here, but...I had to send my HiPoint back. I've never had to send a Taurus back. I will say that Taurus has had problems, but so have most everyone else. And yes, I do own several Taurus pistols. Autoloaders as well as several revolvers. I even shoot them. Favorite Taurus auto...my PT145. Fav revolver would be the Tracker 44Mag. Least favorite Taurus...a Tracker 22/22mag combo. Reason...it's just too heavy for that caliber.
good point. Buy a glock and be done with it. :) Sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee
Do a search and see how many TGO members have bough Tauruses and had to send them back to the factory for some reason. If you are on a budget I would take a S&W Sigma, or even a Hi Point over a Taurus.
I'd choose my hi point over a Taurus. Had to send mine (Taurus) back. Who's Your Local Hometown Interesting Character?
UncleJak replied to analog_kidd's topic in General Chat
There is a fella up in Sumner county called Buzz. He walks around waving at people all over. He is a savant and has memorized the entire phone book; so if you are listed he knows your name, address, and number. -
I had to send in a pt22 for warranty repair. It took forever but it was repaired when it came back. Then I sold it :) Sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee

Last year I had two of those covers now I can only find one. I went to my local Ace Hardware and the guy said there wasn't any for 50 miles around. I bought some pipe insulation and use that coupled with some duct tape. It should work. Sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee
