Hello - I recently purchased a nice all stainless Sig P226 in .40 caliber. Would post a photo, but can't figure out how...it's a nice looking firearm. However, the trigger is the SRT type and it is thinner and much closer than a standard Sig P226 trigger. I find it to be too close and less comfortable than the standard one. If I just order a "standard" trigger, can I do the installation myself? I'm quite handy with tools and am pretty technically oriented...so, I think I could do this. However, I don't know if special tools such as presses, etc. are needed. Hence, the question: Can I make this trigger swap myself? ...or should I take it to a gunsmith? I've tried to find the fellow at Gun Works in Cleveland as recommended on this forum, but apparently he's out of business because the number is disconnected. I've already changed the E2 grips to standard, as I could not stand them. Nice G-10 Hogues are now in place and are awesome. Any advice would be appreciated...and, if you have a first-rate gunsmith to recommend in the Chattanooga area - that would be great. Regards, -Geo
