1.
Are you a reseller ?
Why do you ask? Just because I disagree with you it is your assumption that I must therefore be part of the "Evil Reselling Empire"? In answer to your question, no I am not a reseller. In fact, I have never sold so much as 1 single round of any type of ammunition in my entire life. In any event, like I said in a previous post, this is not life and death. Lets just agree to disagree. I think you stuck your nose in where it didn't belong and then took steps to insure that your views were imposed on everyone else. You feel I was scamming the system because I was part of an evil cabal that was using some diabolical back door inventory search to steal all the available 22LR ammo from the children of the world. It's black and white with little to no gray area. You see it your way and I see it mine and all the discussion in the world is not going to change either of our viewpoints. What's done is done.
2. Oh, I get it now...it's all about YOU! Your feelings, your opinion and your way or the highway. As long as you're happy that's all that matters. Sadly, your attitude seems to be becoming more and more prevalent in today's society. I don't for a second doubt your motivations or intentions but as they say "the road to hell is paved with good intentions". I'm sure that many folks may agree with you while just as many folks will agree with me. The difference between us is that I welcome the differing opinions, relish the debate and understand that both points of view may have merit. You on the other hand seem to look no farther than the tip of your own nose. In your world you know what's best for everyone and clearly draw some sense of accomplishment from your ability to impose your view on everyone else. If that's how you choose to roll then by all means have at it...after all, it's just different strokes for different folks. Oh well, thankfully we're only talking about 22LR ammo. In all probability, regardless of whether or not we all have access to a Cabela's web link, the world will continue to spin and the sun will rise tomorrow . No hard feelings here...life's to short. Who knows, maybe we'll even cross paths one day and sling a bit of 22LR down range. Problem is, you'll have to bring the 22LR ammo because now I just can't find any! PS Thanks to the OP for trying to help out his fellow TGOers. Unfortunately, as is often the case, such efforts oft times take an unexpected left turn.
3.
Good advice, as apparently this link is no more ...
In my view that's really too bad because that link was simply a shopping cart that contained ALL the .22LR products that Cabela's sold. When one pressed "Checkout" the Cabela's real time inventory system would discard from the cart any and all items that were not actually in stock at the time of the query. Any items that were actually in stock remained in the cart and one could then decide whether to make an actual purchase or not. The ONLY time the link would allow one to order "Out of Stock" items was when the actual inventory status changed from "In Stock" to "Out of Stock" between the time of the cart real time query and the actual submission of the order itself. The Cabela's cart system is a REAL TIME inventory query...the Cabela's web page item listings are not. There was no "glitch", there was no "hack" and there was no impropriety. Regardless of what "someone from Cabela's" might have said the link worked exactly the way the Cabela's cart is supposed to work - it checked real time inventory for all the items in the cart before processing the order. The link was a valuable tool that allowed anyone to instantly check the Cabela's .22LR real time inventory with just a few clicks of the mouse. In stock .22LR was then available for purchase. "...the link is no more..." I hope that those who neither understood what the link did or how it did it are happy to see it gone. As they say, sometimes "ignorance is bliss". For those that both understood and used the link a valuable tool in the search for elusive .22LR ammo has been lost.
4. Mine did as well.
5. Dependent upon final pricing I'd like:   1 Lower 1 Upper
6. On second thought...never mind...some things are better left unsaid.
