  6. The rain has just about stopped here in the Walden's Creek area. The rain has helped out a great deal. Only an observer here there is clearly a big difference in smoke and visuals no plumes of smoke. I hope and pray that this catastrophe is over. Let's pray for the folks that were displaced and lost everything.
  7. I used 180g Rem. hollow point in a 6" King Cobra. Could shoot a 12" group at 25 yards not off hand only with a rest. Like wingshooter states how consistently at a distance can you shoot a kill zone group.
  8. Buds in Sevierville have lanes for rifle, I believe 25yds . Gatlinburg Sportsman Club has a 100&200 yard rifle range.
  9. Welcome to TGO
  10. The game farm. Your set for hunting season. Good luck.
  11. Mem. Does the barrel have screw in chokes or fixed. If screw in make sure that they can handle steel shot. If fixed I have been with guys who shot steel through cylinder fixed chokes. I don't recommend it. Smokin45
  12. Like on the square .
  13. Not time intensive at all enjoyed doing my own. But again I had a lot of time to devote to archery. Sometimes it's just easier to have someone else do them.

  15. When I was in competition I would do my own fletching.. quick and getting it done the right way. My preference. Hunting arrows also. It is not difficult to fletch knowing what to do after is the trick. Such as tunning the arrow to fly well especially for hunting. There are a lot of fletching rig's out there to choose from. Look into you time involved vs having them fleched.
  16. Heck I have a 6x24x40 mounted on a .222 use to shoot chucks at short or long range. Them were the days.
  17. It sounds as if your in need of a variable 1 x 4 or 1.5 x 5 or a 3 x 9 .
  18. Prayers on the way. May God place his hand upon you and guide you. Amen.
