I think the mystery is solved  Thanks to all with your input.  #1 is a 58 us Berdan as observed on ammo-0ne.com   The 58 is a straight wall and the 577 is slightly tapered.                                                                                              #2 is as you have stated and observed in ammo-one                                                                                             #3  is also as stated and observed on ammo-one I beliveve untill proven wrong that these are correct    Thanks again

I found a 140 gr.  38 special +P load using unique at 5.0gr.muzzle vel. 902 and 5.3 gr at mv 960. this is for a 140 gr. jhp sect density of 157  COL -1.435" This is a speer bullet with a cci primer. This is a speer book load Sierra  Book   140gr jhc 38 Special  unique 5.6 gr. vel=850   unique 5.9gr vel=900  unique 6.2gr vel= 950 no pressures givin. COL-1.450" No load data for the 140gr in my  Hornady  book
