  1. Nothing wrong with a .380. With todays ammo,it's good enough a bad guy isn't going to know if you shot him with a .380 or 9mm. Not enough difference to worry about. Now a 45,that's a different hole.
  2. They ARE nuts! Hope you didn't drink the water while you were there! LOL
  3. A buddy of mine does cowboy action shooting. His guns are amazing. I'll try and find out if his guy does other Rugers.
  4. when i lived in Ct there were several gun stores in the area. several had high prices and crappy inventory. there was one called Hoffman's that had an awesome inventory, lots of sales, amazing prices.A lot better prices than here even. There staff wasn't known for being the friendliest but if you were patient you got waited on. Every time I ever went in there they were packed to the gills.Always. The other guys were friendly, didn't have a lot of inventory but always offered to order what you wanted even though you could order it yourself for less., I'm not one who is big on the absolute cheapest price. I'll pay a reasonable price for location, and in stock. I'd rather buy local and pay a little more. Support local folks and their families. I know what guns should be priced at so I can LOOK anywhere. if you have low inventory, obnoxious prices, sound like a BSer,have goofy hours, I most likely will never be back. I own and run a small business, people always ask for the lowest price. I respond that is what I gave you. MY lowest price. I will not haggle. I f you are willing to support illegals with no insurance who are milking our system dry to get your trees removed while risking the safety of your house and belongings and family,I wish you the best. I do not work for free and no company will stay in business by breaking even. I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. I also NEVER buy new cars. If the price is fair,I buy,if not,I keep looking.
  5. Metallica sold out. pretty sad. As for Alex Jones, he reports things years before the main stream news reports it,if ever.
  6. while I was living in Connecticut there was an 8 year old boy in Rocky Hill,CT on the news. His nightcrawler stand was shutdown by zoning and the police for no permit. that's when I knew I didn't belong there and wouldn't be staying. Guess the yankees have brought that crap here. NEVER VOTE FOR A YANKEE!
  7. my Droid X is rooted as was my original Droid. Motorola is the most durable and I need that because of my Job climbing trees. I wouldn't have a smart phone if it wasn't rooted. Battery life is greatly improved and it's much more stable. My contract is over and I'm month to month. I kind of like no contract. Verizon has been a lot better to me since I'm not locked in. Bill has gone done for some reason as well.
  8. you could always carry open the first time. after that you will feel a lot more comfortable with it concealed
  9. you can keep the tri state area and southern new england.Food was awesome but I would rather make my own and not go back. Plus there is a Ruth's Chris in Knoxville anyway.
  10. . It's amazing how many permit holders in CT were too lazy to get one and just took the risk. No permit, they will hang you out to dry.
  11. easily understandable. sad the world has gotten this way.
  12. was assaulted and there is no justice. if I had handled it myself I'm sure they would have said "why didn't you call the police?" will never call them again. Learned my lesson. Happened in Knoxville. A Joke of a city!
  13. just moved back to TN from a 6 year stint in Corrupticut. IF you are from out of state,You DO NOT want to get caught with a gun in NY,NJ,CT,MA,or RI !!!!! You will regret it for the rest of your life,I promise!
  14. A lot of people still carry a gun without a permit. A permit should be required for criminals to commit crimes. Take some of their money for once!
  15. I just learned today the whole legal system is a big fat corrupt joke. I knew in my heart it has been for some time but today I got official conformation.
  16. CZ,SKB, or Ruger Red Label. I prefer the red label.
  17. I'd find another church. If i caught wind of any anti gun policies at my church for members or employees my membership would end immediatly!
  18. both great guns but you absolutely made a wise upgrade on caliber!

    1911 mags

I bought two Wilson 47D for my SA Champion loaded. The stock SA mags that came with the gun work better.Maybe I just got lucky with the SA mags but I let the Wilsons go with the Trophy Match when I got rid of it.

    SIG p250

    Better gun than the p250.
  21. Yeah,we should give them more money to squander. Government has proven themselves very fiscally responsible time and time again. Seems about as smart as throwing gas on the fires in New Mexico.
  22. I don't get the Precision Firearms. They didn't seem to know what an HK USP was. Not impressed with them at all. Sevier Indoor is awesome!

    Glock 1911????

You should try their wheel chocks. They work excellent! I haven't tried the Gen 4 yet though.
  24. I was the first person to make a purchase there. Been going to the Maryville store for a while. Great guys and great service and prices..they can get you pretty much anything. The found me an hi ISP when no one else could. He is thinking of carrying reloading if he gets enough interest so go inquire!!!!!!!
