  1. This is a public facebook video so it will play for anyone; even without logging in.   https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=469429549819889   Wow!
  2. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/238525/ruger-bx-25-magazine-ruger-10-22-22-long-rifle-25-round-polymer-black
  3. Almost forgot, there was one guy there, always has ak parts and some various part kits for sale that had a couple of nice looking Egyptian Rasheed's on the table for a fair price.  Haven't seen one of them, let alone two, on a table in a long time.  If I wasn't broke I would be tempted to snag one.  Also,  there was an older fellow walking around with an honest to goodness Mosin Dragoon for sale; didn't ask how much he wanted for it though.
  4. The wire stripper lady was pulling out all of the hard sell tactics too.  Went today and browsed around.  Ended up picking up a box of M2 ball ammo and a box of the new PPU ammo that is certified for the M1 Garand in prep for my SA special to show up soon from the CMP.
  5. My order went pending on the e-store today.  :woohoo:   So to recap:   Order sent via next day USPS on 8/30 USPS order was received at Anniston on 9/2 Order was acknowledged as received on 9/3 DBU(don't bug us) email and estore account creation received on 9/19 saying order to ship time was 60-90 days. Order(s) went pending on the estore on 10/24 Shipping date is still TBD
  6. As it turns out I won't be able to make it to this one.  Sorry.
  7. Saw this vid and loved how they got Corker's affiliation correct! LMAO http://video.foxnews.com/v/2740298364001/
  8. Seems like everyone on the other side of the pond (at least it didn't look like US plates) runs a dash cam now days.
  9. Anyone looking to pick up anything in particular?  I've got a garand on the way so I might try to find a good looking web sling and bayonet.  Ammo of course but probably a small selection as I'm about spent out on my yearly ammo budget.  Also, I keep seeing ads for the new duracoat in a spray can that doesn't require heat treating to be previewed/sold at Knob Creek this fall.  Might pick up a can of it and play around with it as I've never duracoated/gunkoted anything before.
  10. Definitive Arms has your answer for this.  Check out this youtube vid of their product:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAjidZr5D7o
  11. Love my Rock-Ola M1 Carbine!  Definitely worth picking up one if you can find one.  I believe someone did a run of these recently via AIM surplus; James River Armory or FA maybe?  Anyways, I also got an email from the CMP today that stated that they are opening a custom shop where you can send in your old GI spec cabines, garands, enfields, springfields, etc for gunsmithing work for those of you needing work done.
  12.
  13. The problem with swapping inards on Dell's is that they manufacture their own power supplies and mainboards so the power supply connectors and front panel connectors are in most cases proprietary.  Amazon and ebay will be your best friends for sourcing spare parts.  That being said it might be better for the long run to get something new and a hard drive enclosure.
  14. Heavier buffers help a slight amount too in my experience.
  15. Sure looks that way the way Lydia said she didn't like having that big of a "risk" left out there referring to Skyler after Todd paid her a visit in the last episode.  I truly think now that the ricin will get mixed into a stevia packet for Lydia's tea.  Just seems weird that they made a point of her asking for it again on the last episode.
  16. Been there once and liked it very much.  I'd be down for meeting up there.
  17. I don't feel like he was pissed at all.  I think he just realized that what they were saying was true that Walter White is indeed gone and Hisenburg is what he truly is now.  I feel this is very much parallel to the whole Smeagol/Gollum - multiple personality conflict sort of thing if you've ever watched LOTR.  I think the Hisenburg identity is what helped him beat the cancer and ultimately survive this far.  I think he finally decided to leave the last traces of WW in that bar.  I'm expecting that the next/last episode will be full of vengeance and fury now that Hisenburg is in the driver's seat 100%.
  18. Yep, that is pretty much exactly what I am building except for the SVD style flash hider instead of the one pictured there.
  19. Here's an actual conversion that probably better convey's what I had in my head for a battle rifle version: Yeah, for sure. I already own the 23" 7.62x54r and will ultimately end up a draganov look-alike. I do like what the owner of RS Regulate did with his x54r for a DMR build:
  20. Eh, no way my ammo would fit in there.  Am needing some more storage room though soon so this might work - I like how there isn't a short shelf preventing really long barrels from fitting in there.  Currently have an old heirloom shotgun that just will not fit in either of my two current safes so this might make a good home for it.  I need to re-line my two existing ones.  Anyone have a good link for stuff like that or should I just hit up the craft stores for some yards of felt and double sided tape?
  21. Yeah, if you were going after a DRM type setup then yeah 20 inch barrel, PRS stock, longer handguard with better bipod mounting options, and the scope of your choice instead of the red dot.  Would still do the integrated sights setup though.  Most of the items that would turn it from a DRM to battle rifle are all modular and easy to change out as your heart desires.   Do they sell an 18 inch or would you have to get 20 and get it cut and recrowned?
  22. Here's the site w/ a lot of FAQ's. http://www.knobcreekrange.com/events/featured-events/machine-gun-shoot   Not sure on rental age.  I sure don't remember any small children participating in the rentals last year.  Lots of kids/families attending though.
  23. Yep, what Shaggy said.  Last year you could expect about $1/round in mag-fed weapons and more for the belt feds and full auto shotguns.  I think the cheapest was the jungle walk w/ the Uzi - can't remember price though.  Last year I shot a full auto ak74 x2 magazines and I think I spent just over $60; hard to remember exactly though.  Worth every penny though!  BTW you need to show up early in the day if you want to rent as the line gets stupid long.     Shaggy - shoot me a PM with who/what to look for and I'll swing by the competition area and say hi.
  24. Yep, that is where I normally meet up with my akforum.net brethren.  See you there!
  25. Anyone else from here attending this year's Fall shoot?  I'll be there from Fri - Sun again this year.  :woohoo:
