1. Thanks for the review.  I have passed this place many times since they opened but always had somewhere to be and couldn't stop in.  Good to know they have a very reasonable transfer fee as well!
2. Buds website is completely down at this moment - lol.
3. Just saw on their FB that they have a CZ P07 with what looks like a threaded barrel for $349! https://www.facebook.com/budsgunshop?fref=photo
4.   Yeah, the early-mid 90's were really the golden age of AK's in my opinion; crime bill not-withstanding.  Could be Egyptian, Romanian, Chinese, Hungarian, Yugoslavian,  or Bulgarian.  Any of these would have been found at gun shows/shops with thumbhole stocks during that time period.  The bulgarians would have typically had the black synthetic stocks and handguards while the romanians had the skelotonized stocks similar to what the PSL uses.  Egyptian will be brown/honey-brown laminate w/ metal butt plate and trap door for cleaning kit.  Chinese will be orange-ish wood and I think most had a rubber butt pad if it was Norinco; other options if Polytec.  Hungarians usually used a blonde wood that always felt very smooth like it was sanded very well.  Yugo's were sort of all over the place and came in several different options on the stock; could be black synthetic or wood that ranged from blonde to brown in color.
5. '96 could be any number of variants sporting a thumbhole.  What color/finish was the wood?  Brownish?  Blonde?  Synthetic?  Orange-ish?
6. LOL - very funny article!
7. Thanks Garufa!
8. True enough I suppose.  Was just thinking it would be easier in regards to handing them down to my children later on if the guns were transferred to the trust and the kids were on the trust as beneficiaries.  What happens to your C&R guns if you want to pass them on and they are still on your bound book when you pass?
9. I have googled this quite a bit over the past few days and still don't have an answer.  If I have my C&R FFL can I transfer firearms that I have purchased with it to my gun trust?  If so is it handled just like transferring any other type of firearms only they have to be removed from my bound book?  Or are there other hoops to jump through?
10. Thanks for all of the feedback everyone.  I have sent messages to both.
11. Was this an online option that didn't require face to face interaction?  Just wondering since you are in Knoxvegas.
12. Getting serious about starting up my trust - have the green light from my better half.  Wondering which vendors/lawyers are best and openly request any on here to send me a PM with pricing and/or details.  Also looking for feedback from those that have went this route as far as who they would suggest I use.   Thanks
13. Unless Arsenal releases a milled version of their SF adapter then yeah you really don't have much of an option.  I wouldn't cut that tang for nothing.  Go get a beater Wasr and tacticool that one out and return this one to original; wood and muzzle nut.
14. Depends on how serious you are about your kitchen knives I suppose.  I long for the day that I can afford a set of these:   http://www.neemantools.com/en/products/kitchen-tools
15. Should be easy enough to refinish on your own now that duracoat comes in spray cans.  Would have a hard time tacti-cooling that rifle but to each his own :)
16. Pepperoni and/or bacon and pineapple on regular crust for me!  And don't forget the extra garlic/butter dipping sauce!
17. I am hearing rumors that the receivers may be re-welds also.  No confirmation though...
18. After you flushdns you need to re-register it:   At command prompt type: ipconfig /registerdns     ETA - I would also load up an alternate browser just to further troubleshoot the issue.
19. This is hands down my favorite range in middle TN thus far.  The inlaws are about 30 mins away so anytime we go visiting my wife and I drop the kid off w/ the grandparents and hit up the range for really nice practice sessions with our CCW.  I also tried in vain to get both of our AR's sighted in at closer ranges but the strictness of the ranges made it all but impossible around the Smyrna area.  I took both of our AR's to Eagle Eye and had them sighted in within a few minutes since I could operate at my own pace.   http://www.eagleeyeshootingrange.com/     Great facility, great prices, and awesome laid back attitude and extremely friendly staff.  I love the fact that I can pull the vehicle right up to any of the bays or rifle shed and load/unload, etc.
20. Not a rifle in the truest sense of the word but I am waiting patiently for the Keltec CMR 30. If/when it ever releases it will be my first 22 Mag.
21. :shake:
22. Guess the 4 piece Bulgarian isn't what you are looking for? Not sure how much "compensator" you are after versus how much aesthetics towards the Noveske. Would need to find one in correct threads or an adapter though.
23. I use adblock with Chrome on all recent flavors of Windows.  I only dig the IE icon out of the start menu on rare occasions though.
24. Not a mini but did jump on a regular Draco a few years back when they were really cheap.  Even with getting to hand pick one at a gun show I still wound up with a canted rear sight block.  Troy Sellers was able to roll it over for me though.
