  1. https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd875529(v=ws.10).aspx   Here's the guide.
  2. No, you can have both active and it will escrow to AD still.  Make sure you also have AD setup properly to receive the bitlocker info; it is more than just a GPO.
  3. Thanks for the pic - I'll have a second look down the aisles this afternoon for Blanton's.  Know my local one has the 4 roses though.
  4. Don't remember seeing Blanton but I heard quite a few suggest Four Roses single barrel or small batch; whatever its called.  Is that the one you are suggesting there?
  5. Question for the hive - what would you suggest for an easy sipping bourbon whiskey for Thanksgiving day that would also be used to make some old fashioned?  Not looking for something rare or complex as it will be lost on myself and my crowd.  So far I have tried woodford, buffalo trace, and bulleit.  Didn't care for the woodford or bulleit.  Buffalo was smooth but somewhat generic tasting.
  6. Single stack would be/should be model SA2000M not one of the 85 series.  The real question will be if it has the long or short gas tube installed as SA85's were being built at break neck speeds and parts were swapped in and out on the line between the AMD bins and the AMMS bins.  Honestly since FEG isn't around anymore if I were in your shoes I would probably sell it and pick up a WASR or a PAP to accessorize.  Or if you have the money just stash the SA85 away and keep it as a collectible.
  7. Should be able to but will need a cable.  HDMI to mini display port I would think.  Not sure what the available outputs are on the PS4 but imagine one is hdmi.  Anyways put the imac in target display mode with command+F2.  Plug in cable and you should be good to go.
  8. Even though I am now in M'boro I still use Guns 'N More in Smyrna.  I will say that they are very competitive on pricing though.  The last time I transferred in an el-cheapo AR lower they had the same one there for nearly the same price OTD after you factored in shipping, etc.  If it is a common model of something you might want to call and check their on hand or ordering availability/price first.
  9. Was just sharing this test around on FB.  Love that they spent the time and money to do it right!  So many youtubers, reveiwers, etc just fire off one or two shots into a single block and call it day.  I know there's no way for them to include EVERY type of ammo in their tests but I would have liked to see a FMJ ball rounds included as a baseline comparison as well.  Also, the Underwood/Lehigh Defense stuff is making a lot of waves.  Since they included the G2 RIP stuff I would have liked to have seen those as well.  I really like the way the 147gr Federal HST 9mm performed overall.
  10. Already been said but disassemble the mags, soak in mineral spirits, rinse with hot water, DRY COMPLETELY(air compressor helps here), wd-40 or CLP liberally(use of air compressor again to get it into all the crevices), wipe off excess wd-40 or CLP, finally re-assemble and store somewhere cool and dry if possible.  Check for surface rust in a couple of days just in case you didn't get them completely dry.
  11. Do you know where the spot weld is holding in the pin?  Removing pinned muzzle caps are pretty easy if you own a dremel and a padded vise.  If the barrel is already threaded your new muzzle device should just go right on once you clean up the threads with a wire brush and some oil.  No reason to get a smith involved there unless there is something I am missing here.  Just don't go making an illegal SBR and it should be smooth sailing ;)
  12. Thanks, can't quite remember where I stole it from but it is definitely a nice looking one!  BTW - I second the RTG Parts and would also suggest Apex or Copes as well.
  13. Yes, they are C&R - and these landed while mine is having the premises address updated   Looks like they are at least getting one more batch in after this one; maybe more than one more.
  14. I'd vote for original Polish bakelite orange-red grip.  I would stick with the wood AKM stock and maybe pick up a polish side folder to swap in occasionally when you feel like changing it up.
  15. Your first AK?  I would advise you to go grab a new Wasr 10 and a fist full of mags.
  16. I read somewhere that the handguard, at least, isn't really wood but plastic.  I guess you could always toss one of their ugly black plastic "match" stocks on it as they seem to come with studs and rails.
  17. Either way(pre-existing threads or not), unless you are going to be putting on a suppressor then just do it on your own.
  18. I was about to say "have you tried Numrich?"  :)
  19. Unissued this is not THAT bad of a deal.  Just make sure to check the barrel for pitting as I don't think the 59/66 yugos had chrome lining on them.  Just in case they were fired once for proofing then thrown in storage, etc without cleaning.
  20. Leave it as is!  Post up some pics around the outside of the chamber.  Should be plenty of factory stampings in that area that are pretty easy to trace these days.
  21. Have been testing the various releases of it in the technet previews for months.  All in all I like it.  I just downloaded the RTM tech preview this morning and loaded it up on a virtual machine.  Using a single cpu core and 8 gb of ram w/ 60gb of spinning disk(NOT ssd) the mounted ISO took only 8 minutes to install.  Not bad!
  22. Screw builds were fine for the days before we had a plethora of appropriately sized and hardened rivets and cheap tools and jigs to make an AK correctly; pre-2007.  Now that we have the appropriate stuff on hand and the fact that you need to use glue(loctite) to keep the screws from falling out should be all the reason one needs to just build an ak appropriately.  On the tools side of it, if you are just going to build one then get the bolt cutters with the replacement rivet crushing jaws.  If you want to build several kits then go full tilt with a press and the appropriate jigs.  Ak building has gone through many methods here in the states; welding, then screws, now finally rivets.  Screw builds can still have value as a learning tool so that you can disassemble easily when you mess up that first build or a difficult build. Beyond that stick with rivets for the final build.  I'm not going to tell someone that their screwbuild AK is a piece of junk; there are several examples that hold up fine to abuse.  However, I will say that there's definitely one person that agreed with rivet building as the only way to go... Mikhail Kalishnikov.
  23. Also, if you decide to try using the toth tool approach here is a playlist of building up an underfolder kit from the kitchen table:   https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdVd3Ak_wHYC73cSwSck8Wz4Nz8_kFuG8
  24. I would stay away from doing a screw build.     Receiver - either Nodak Spud or Childers receiver is the only way to go.   Hit up Akbuilder for the rivet sets, jigs, and build tools.   Hit up harbor freight for a 20 ton press.  You can do it with a 12 but I would advise to spring for the 20.   Several places offer the US barrels including, as mentioned, atlantic firearms.
  25. I've also seen some that were impossible to get out or back in until the safety was moved to the opposite of whatever position its in that is giving you trouble as well.
