XS also makes a replacement sight for the RO. I am probably going to order a set in the next couple of weeks. Not conventional, but I kinda like them for fast target pickup and short range defensive scenarios.

I have a criminal justice degree, and have yet to use it. I worked in a completely different industry while in college, and have stayed in that field. I had a few job offers in the law enforcement field, but nothing that I couldn't turn down. As far as money, build your life around your income. There is nothing wrong with striving to do better, but most that let that consume them are miserable.

I haven't shot a Remington, but am very pleased with the RO. May be the best deal in 1911s today.

Mid-Tenn is who seems to have the best reputation, at least in my circles.

While I do think Memphis gets a bit of bad rap, it earns a lot of it. When it comes to crime, Memphis is generally lumped in with New Orleans, Detroit, and DC. That isn't by accident. Having said that, there are places in Nashville that are just as bad as the worst of Memphis has to offer.

Welcome to the club. The UPS 45c is a fantastic piece. I slightly prefer the HK45c, but not by much. As previously stated, the HK45 fullsize mags work in both the USP 45c and the HK45c. I tried it a couple years ago, and found it pretty uncomfortable. I wish X-Grip made a spacer.

They make a 9 round mag that doesn't stick out like the 10 round mags do.

I would jump on it. If you could get then down a bit more, even better. I am not a Glock fan at all, but the G30 is a fantastic bit of engineering. Pick up a 9 round mag, and it really shines as a carry gun.

It is pretty hard to beat the HK USP platforms, IMHO. The V1 allows you several distinct carry options. If you prefer a different system, you simply change a module and/or a couple of springs.

I can assure you that this is not a correct statement. He doesn't support the bill, and would rather not have to deal with it, but his legislative team has been on the sidelines.
