Congrats on your H&K and your reenlistment. I just did my last one a year ago and it's Vol Indef until your mandatory removal date. An 11 year enlistment for me. The joys of being a Senior NCO.

It has to do with the checkering of the front strap. It is when last line in it is not squared or ended evenly. This is the best way I can explain it.

Mine has overuns, every one I have seen in person has overuns. The only ones that don't are posted as having been made in the last quarter of 08. But this seems not to be true becuase I have seen pictures and post of pistols dated 10/08 that have overruns. Don't call CZ because they don't have a clue. Call Dan Wesson in New Hampshire.

I have used it in 1911's and SIG 220's. No problems noted.

I have always carried the M9 in the decocked position. I don't know of anyone who has carried cocked and locked ala 1911. It's a new pistol, it will lighted up with time.

Got my RIA Tactical today. Bought it local in Nashvegas. It is covered in something like motor oil. I will be giving it a good cleaning this weekend.
