  1. Hell the dump truck weight was close to 10 tons not incluing the load. Not really sure what type of dump it was. Good luck.
  2. I use to do paving growing up and it is almost always the property owners resposibility to provide access to the site for delivery of items. I have seen many time where stuff was left by the street because the delivery did not seem safe.and no was was there. I bet your new neighbor told them to just drive up to the site not knowing the rating for your bridge. A load of rock in a tandum dump truck is between 20-22 tons not to include the truck.
  3. Looks very nice. Congrats. I have one just like it (Century Build ) mine is RARE ,nice finish, early ser #, straight front sight block and it doesn't keyhole at any distance. I am happy with it. Get us a Range Report.
  4. +1 I just had a barrel done for a shot gun and it was 100.00 Most pistols without to much pitting go for 125.00 around Nashville.
  5. Justme, I would think that you absolutely S**t if you truly knew how often the military is off the reservation amongst the regular folk every day. SF,,ASA, CID, DIA,SDI and Homeland Security for some. That's just the tip of the iceberg. I know and have met a lot of them. There are people on this board that have been there. But I guess it is OK for local law and state and federal law enforcement to step all over peoples rights at times. There are a lot of good civilian law enforcement officers , but there are a good share of bad ones. I speak from experience on this. They tend to take care of their own also. I guess we will just agree to disagree.
  6. A dollar amount you are wanting to spend might help? The pistols mentioned so far range from 250 to a 1000. You might want to try a place that rents guns at the range.
  7. The walmart in Lebanon had plenty yesterday around 1:00 pm. They had WWB. They also had Blazer, WWB in 9mm.
  8. I read somewhere that the CD .45's are now made by BUL in Israel. I think it was stated by Mr. Kassner himself on the 1911 forum.
  9. It is to fully close the bolt if it is sticking or not closing all the way. It should only be used sparingly until you can take apart for cleaning.
  10. I would like to say that I truly do not believe you have to serve in the military to defend the Constitution as I implied earlier. This thread just pisses me off about punishing soldiers. I have had the privilege of taking care of Soldiers ( To include all branches) for 34 years. In a few days I will be leaving for a year to take care of another 5000 and their families. There are a lot of really good people on here. Some of them have served and others serve in different ways. I am glad there is a place to discuss firearms in Tennessee. It just seems there in a lot of negative political and tin hat theories going on of late. I wish the best to all of you PS: LT Calley let a bunch of people get murdered. They were not directing traffic. If you want to see him, he is still running a Jewelery store on Victory Drive just outside the main gate at Ft. Benning. You should hear his side of the story.
  11. I don't see a military icon for service under your avatar. I might be wrong but what in the hell would you know about defending the Constitution. It's like flying the old USSR colors as you avatar. ( By all means your right to) A right given to you under the Constitution. When I flew MEDEVAC, you didn't hear anybody complaining about flying their premature babies or the seriously injured from rural areasor just to better hospitals for treatment. No one complained about the numerous times I left the Fort to conduct MEDEVAC flights which came under safety and traffic in most states.
  12. They have every kind of .380 in stock. Some thing is wrong there.

    New GLOCK

Give that thing to me and I'll break it in for you.
  14. I shoot there all the time. You will get mixed reviews here. I live about 15 minutes from there and have never had any issues. The range guys are usually an older group of guys. I just give them my Drill Sergeant look and get left alone.
  15. You and your family are in our prayers.
  16. Looks nice, what kind of wood is that? I have the same pistol in 10MM.

    CZ75 P01 Phantom

CZ will be the new SIG in short time due to quaility control at SIG and pricing themselves out of the market.
  18. At the business I am in (Auto Auction) we order t-shirts by the thousands. I would believe the demography to be about the same here. Out of a thousand we order 500 XL, 300 Large, 75 each of 2XL and 3XL and about 50 medium for the ladies that work there and the few female buyers. We do this three or four time a year as give aways.
  19. I know who has .45 self defense ammo in stock in Nashville. But it is at a store that cannot be named here. Another might be the Reloaders Bench in Mt. Juliet. They had some the other week
