  1. Welcome to TGO!
  2. Gamo air gun, then a High Standard Duramatic Pistol and a 10/22 both of which I still own.

    Kerosene

When I bought mine in DEC it was $4.00 Gal.
  4. You need to look on Gunbroker and see what these gun's are bringing. I sold my 4" Diamond back many years ago and it is one of the biggest regrets I've had. It came with Colt's Royal Blue Finish. I would see what sending it back to the factory for a new finish would cost.
  5. They look great. I would be interested in getting one done when I get back home from this tour of duty.
  6. I have on in 10MM and love it. Magiccarpetrides has one in .45
  7. As a lot of you that know me I was in the Bar and Restaurant business for years. I have had this sign posted in all of my places. In Restaurants for one reason and Bars for another. I am on the fence on this issue. You have to have lived the business to understand. This practice exits in all States that I have visited and friends that I have in the business practice this. If you came into my place OC'ing I would bounce your ass in a minute. Concealed would be a different story. It's not just about your right, It is about everybody's right. So Are “We Reserve the Right to Refuse Service to Anyone” Signs in Restaurants Legal? Yes, however they still do not give a restaurant the power to refuse service on the basis of race, color, religion, or natural origin. These signs also do not preclude a court from finding other arbitrary refusals of service to be discriminatory. Simply put, restaurants that carry a “Right to Refuse Service” sign are subject to the same laws as restaurants without one. : What Conditions Allow a Restaurant to Refuse Service? There a number of legitimate reasons for a restaurant to refuse service, some of which include: Patrons who are unreasonably rowdy or causing trouble Patrons that may overfill capacity if let in Patrons who come in just before closing time or when the kitchen is closed Patrons accompanied by large groups of non-customers looking to sit in Patrons lacking adequate hygiene (e.g. excess dirt, extreme body odor, etc.) In most cases, refusal of service is warranted where a customer’s presence in the restaurant detracts from the safety, welfare, and well-being of other patrons and the restaurant itself. In some of my places it was based on how you looked. Dress Code can be set up to be vague. It was a good tool. It was about business, my business. It was not personal. A lot of mainstream America do not agree with us. I had a lot of guys conceal carry, legal or not in my place. They did not advertise or showboat it. The "right to refuse" is law in most States as long as you don't base it under the basic discrimination laws. I have been challenged only a few times over the years and none made it to court. Treat this new hcp in restaurant and bars law with respect. It was a great victory.
  8. This place has the best selection of sizes (12 to 15) that I have ever seen in public. His price were good and the cans were like new. I bought the large 30MM cans.
  9. I have one in 5.45X39 and love it. Ammo is still 150.00 per 1080 rds. C-products makes good mags for both the 7.62 and 5.45 rounds for the AR Platform. I get the same performance out of mine as you would with stardard 5.56(.223). The only difference is when you use specialty rounds for the .223. You can get a Del-Ton upper in 7.62 for about 450.00. i am thinking about picking one up.
  10. Welcome to TGO, I flew dustoff also, 3/507th AA.
  11. I was 47 when my first child, a litttle Girl was born. She starts school this fall. I wish I had just a tenth of her energy. She has been keeping me young. I will get to spend a couple of weeks with her soon when she comes to the Fort to visit.
  12. Come on out to FT. Jackson. There are more ranges than you can count. I'll even put you up. (You have to leave the goat at home)
  13. Welcome also. I used to live in the UK as a youngster. My mother was from Wales.
  14. Looks nice. Definitely a upgrade from the WASR and Hi Points for you normally mess with. Really, it's too nice for you and won't fit in with your image. You might as well give it to me. ( I am talking about the girls too!)

    Carfax VIN Check

I work for Adesa AA and was with ABC Auto Auctions for years. I am now mobilized for a year. We quit using Carfax four to five years ago. They are a great selling tool. They take for ever to update the data base. Auto Check is processed the same day it entered. Carfax is better than nothing. If I was back home I would have been happy to have a look for you.
  16. It took me more than 6 months for a renewal. Go to one of there stations and give them proof of citizenship. They will make a copy and return your paperwork to you. They also give you a copy of the application stamped that acts as your permit if yours expires before you get it.
  17. Love the COD series.

    wow.

I have been back on active duty for a couple of months. This mandatory PT five days a week and the bugle calls 24/7 are driving me crazy. On a good note I have lost 10 pounds. I am 6' and 188 lbs . I also quit smoking in January and feel a lot better these days.

    Carfax VIN Check

Carfax is not worth a crap. All Auto Auctions use a service called Auto Check. Carfax has caused auctions a loose a lot of money for being wrong. It is mainly used by car dealers as a selling tool. You can go online and use Auto Check for a small fee.
  20. Magiccarpetrides had some for sale in the For Sale Thread on this forum. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/gear-classifieds/19850-380-9x18-25-06-25-ammo-sale.html
  21. Interarms is just the importer/dealer. Mine is just like yours. Watch out for the hammer bite.
  22. I own one and love it. They were imported by Interarms for awhile. Then they were then made for Interarms under license in Alabama by a company called Ranger before S & W took over the manufacturing and redesigned the frame. The S&W ones are reported to have a lot of problems. Most do not know that Walther has not made a PPK or PPK/s since Nazi Germany. They were made in France by Manurhin the sent to Germany for proofing after WWII.

+1 on Florence. A small town near there called Prato is nice also.
  24. Welcome, nice avatar( SAS cap badge).
