  1. I had issues on a PSA upper. Sent it back to the factory and they straighten it out by sending me a new one. They paid shipping both ways.
  2. It was never high gloss blue. Military/police contract. Enameled finished. They just don't lose their value. I'm sure a NIB would be a collector's dream, but I have never seen one in my many years of buying and selling Hi Powers. This will be a carry gun.
  3. I'll post up mine when done. I'm getting ready to two tone a rare alloy framed Hi-Power. My problem is having the time to get down to the country to drop it off at 2nd Amendment Gun Coatings. LOL
  4. They make a browning kit for muzzleloaders. But for bluing I have had good luck with the kit from Blue Wonder.(Google it)

  13. The suicide rate in the military is on par with the cilvilan population. But is high for a certain group. Demographics and age are also on par with civilian population.
  14. I'm a Medical SGM and get the quarterly suicide reports. They are disturbing. It encompasses all ranks and the methods used to commit suicide are varied compared to the norm. This is a weekly subject at meetings with my Command and is taken very seriously. It is good that we have a large community here to talk to. If someone needs help to navigate the system I'm here to help. I deal with this quite a bit. The Reserves have surpassed the Active duty in suicides a long time ago due to the confusion in where to get care until the last couple of years. Things have been getting better to a certain extent.
  15. Bon Fire Grill and Corner Pub for some others. Chedder's is another
  16. Those cards are color coded. What color is it. In the day many years ago the AD cards were green and Reserve Component were a pinkish red. Dependent ID cards are a orange/tangerine/peach tintish were dependent with gray being retired. Only the later two are still in use. The orange tint one is issued to Reserve and guard post deployment to receive their six months post health care as a I'd card for insurance. These cards are know to be highly counterfeited at times.
  17. Here is a start. As stated above it is public records. You can ask for and receive certain information. It will take a while to get it. They are slow Public access: http://www.archives.gov/st-louis/military-personnel/public/general-public.html:
