  3. Welcome to TGO.
  4. Not happening. He is 0ne hour away from his second home, the Augusta National. Free membership from South Carolina. 1st- Football , 2nd- Golf is his passion.
  5. Staying at South Carolina. On that note Lane Kiffin is a punk with a big mouth. He was in enough trouble with the SEC Commissioner. UT will be better off without him.
  6. I have used alot of their 10MM and had no issues. In the canned heat, gold dot and bonded uni-core.
  7. Dan Wesson
  8. I have tried both and went with the RI tactical for around 460.00. The Customer service from RI is hard to beat. You can read up on them at 1911forum.
  9. Most soldiers that are trainees receive a General Discharge it they don't make the standard for service. This type is given only to those in training status. These days you have to really do something to get a OTH discharge. This is according to my JAG. I am in a RSC which is a Two Star Command and he has sight over the nine southern States. The worst being a Dishonorable which speaks for itself. I am only speaking from the Army stand point.
  10. I had a front sight that was slightly canted. Put it is a vise and wacked it lightly with a rubber mallet. Worked great. Had to do it on a couple of AK's in the past. I thought why not, they are both pinned. Also check the front sight post to make sure it is not a little canted. The magpul buis is a true backup sight with not much adjusment. Made for CQB.
  11. Good to hear from you Glen.
  12. The only Ed Brown parts that were used, were the bobtail mainspring housing, memory safety and the slide release on the CBOB. This is what I was told. Some EB barrel bushings were used on some models. The Valor was the only non MIM pistol using a forged frame. The new parts I'm told will be made in house. This was from a discussion I had with the military sales rep at the time I placed a order for a 2010 from CZ/Dan Wesson. They are very secretive about their suppliers. On 1911forum there is a good read for DW,
  13. Happy New Year from another Bimmer rider. Oil Head.
  14. Ahhh that sux. lol
  15. That's great news!
  16. Happy New Year! Chillin watching kiddie movies.
  17. It does suck. But I can understand when it comes to a 2nd LT. They shouldn't let them have a Map or Compass either.
  18. I also forgot about this place. Great food and atmosphere.
  19. Got to admit it looks well made. Maybe a shadowbox. I would never wear it though.
  20. They also make a locktite just for guns. I believe it is green.
  21. Thread Hi-jack. Looks like a nice place. I'm going to have to carry the Mrs there. Thanks for the link.
  22. I own three. Mine were all fine from the factory. I haven't gotten much time with my full stock in 22 WMR. I'll have to say my trainer with a 28.5" barrel is the most accurate 22 I have ever shot. I use Remington Vipers.
  23. I have a original No5 Jungle carbine. I've had it about 25 years and love shooting it. A Enfield in .308 I would like to have myself. Looks great.

    S&W discount

Every S&W LEO dealer will honor this. I looked at a M&P 9c with thumb safety, NMS and standard sights for 447.00. Just show your ID card and orders if you claim another state as HOR. This is from 719.00 MSRP. It's close if you add in shipping. Same as Glock from a LEO dealer Standard 9 & 40(3 Mags) are 398.20 to include compacts and sub compacts 468.00. I think this runs out end of the month
