  2. Dan Wesson CBOB or VBOB.
  3. Buona sera Was stationed at Caserma Ederle. And spent alot of time in Prato. Some of the best years of my life.
  4. Have you thought about a AR in .308?

    Real gun porn!

Gratuitous Gun Porn. Hell, I'm in Columbia, SC right next to Camden. Teaching a class in two weeks at Camden Military Academy.
  6. I have a 80's produced P1 and find it a accurate gun. I have seen pistols that were manufactured in the 90's. I was told they were produce from 1957-2000. The modern German Army stopped use in the early 90's.
  7. Congrats on your new work. I loved my time working in Europe.
  8. +2 Same here at amazon .com.
  9. Did you put the side rail on the STG? If so, where did you get it?
  10. Hero Gear carries Spikes Lowers.
  11. I liked the Norico best. Down to my last 100 rds. Other than that I like the Golden Tiger brand. These two don't seem to be as dirty.
  12. Welcome

    British Hero

Remember now he was a Kiwi. Most don't take kindly to being called a Brit. Good job to him for looking out for his mates!
  14. Yes, if you leave it on it lets a constant supply of fuel to the carb. As it evaporates the varnish, gunk and old gas is what it leaves behind
  15. If you left the petcock in the on position it is probably the float in the carb bowl is stuck or varnished. I use stabil in my equipment to winterize it. I also turn off the fuel and run the carb dry. I have not had a fuel problem in years. You can drop the bowl and clean it with carb and choke cleaner. Put it back on the shoot some cleaner in the carb while cranking. Be real careful with starting fluid. I have seen it ruin a four stroke engine.
  16. I own a Custom Shop 220 Elite SAO. This is one of my favorites. That said I still like my DW CBOB's better.
  17. When I was stationed in Germany, I lived around the corner from RWS HQ in Furth/Nurnberg. Their ammo was first rate. Their .22 and hunting ammo was the best at the time. I have never seen RWS for sale in the states. The R50 Gold .22 used to be the s***t, better than Eley.
  18. +1 on Ratworx. I called and couldn't give me a availability on anything except a AR. I picked up mags with Magiccarpetrides. A friend here on the Fort told me about them. They still have 10 rounders for $15.00, great for range work.
  19. Would this not be a form of stalking. I know in GA even if you catch the police doing surveillance you can file a formal protest in and it will removed. It is a form of harrasment and I know of several fellow night club owners that did this when I was in the business.
  20. Bud's gun shop. I noticed some of the models they got back in . They are at 1500.00 now for some. I have heard the prices are going back up. I did mine over the phone and got the latest generation, no forward assist. At a great price. I have heard from other that the optic will stopped being produced due to cost. They are 350.00 ordered separately.
  21. The banks used NADA to set finacing for sales. Most dealers use MMR or Black Book for setting wholesale. Edmunds and Kelly are worthless. I work for the auto auction when not soldiering. Magiccarpetrides is a dealer and might chime in with his take. NADA has a free service online http://www.nada.com/ . I would say it is more accurate than the others. But still the two dealers only services above set the real market 99% of the time.
  22. XOXOXO
  23. Mine was ordered yesterday and on it's way. 20" green with factory optic.
  24. Each are supplying this rifle or a joint venture. I have swore off century products. Due to their s******y customer service. But 350.00 is not a bad price and Centerfire is not like dealing with some local dealers.
  25. I got two hours from my house when a Member from here called and told me he didn't want to do the deal. Three days later he listed it here for a trade instead. I was upset at first. Next day got over it. This has happen to me twice on this site. I don't mind if they cancel before I am on my way. When they waste my time and money for travel I get pissed. Now I will only deal with people I know or have been around TGO for awhile.
