  1. Here's a picture. No I didn't get it sharpened on the Folder. I did on my LMF for a 1/4 of the blade.
  2. You and I have too much in common. First the MSAR. I have had the Applegate/Fairburn Combat Folder for about 7 years and the same Cold Steel Kurki for about two years. I'll post a picture.
  3. Looks alot like the Army's XM-8 that was scrapped. XM8 rifle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  4. AIM and Palmetto State Armory both have .380 as of a hour ago.
  5. The only one that I had that ever worked was a claw mount. Just Google HK Claw mount. The start at 50.00 depending who makes it. B-Square makes a good solid mount but is a pain to take on and off.
  6. A S&W 638 IWB and a .22 MAG NAA Mini-Revolver in the pocket always.
  7. Back in the day, a lot of my squad carried Gerbers. We sent them to Gerber to have what was called a" professional edge" put on them. I sent a original LMF and had this done. It messes up the finish but a few swipes on a stone and it had a razor edge. These were tools not show pieces. I don't know it they still do this, give them a call. Bass Pro also offers knife sharpning. Did a good job on a Twin Roosters Cattleman I had. Take your scuba gear. lol
  8. My wife carried the Gerber Fairburn Applegate Combat Folder while on active duty. It looks a lot like the knife your inquiring about. She was pretty good with it too.
  9. Congrats on your new baby.
  10. Hubertus spring lever, 3.5 inch blade.
  11. These people are great. Known them since I was a boy. They will make you what you want. Lothar Walther
  12. If it is what I used before it has powder and is lethal to 300mm. I need to get a few rounds from you and try it in my AP4 .308.
  13. So you odered the Ammo we talked about? Let us know how it worked. I'm still intrested if getting some.
  14. Very recently I have been changing my opinion on night sights. I have owned about all of them in one fashion or the other. I don't know if it is due to ageing of the eyes or what but after the first shot at night I have found they are useless to me. For me it' has been more of a point and shoot scenario. I own quite a few with night sights. But on new pistols that have come without them I just left the weapon alone unless the stock sights were just no good. I have used Trijicons more than anything else.

    Number 4!

Congrats man!! Those little girls are ready. I'll get to hold mine in two more days.
  16. I don't know about the ones mentioned, but I have been useing Brenneke's rifiled slugs for over 30 years. In 2 /34 they state 70mm and won't feed reliable in any auto shotguns that I have owned. I have used them with perfect results on doubles and O/U guns.
  17. Thanks for your service. I have recently been issued the BCG's in brown also due to old age. I am glad the Army isn't the only one abusing their people.
  18. They make some great grips. Very Nice.

    New .45

The 220 SAO or the DW.
  20. That is great. My little girl loves to do the tumbler and cleaning. She counts when she puts them in the blocks.
  21. When I left FT Benning in 2005, most of the AMU guys I shot withowned them as their personal weapon and on the builds for their competition Rifle. At the Gun club ther they only carried RRA in stock. You could order what you wanted and had to pay up front for it. Those crusty old AMU Warrant Officers would go on and on about a RRA. That chart is somewhat outdated. S&W AR's are done in house. Only the first year Stag had something to do with it. I got that from their VP of customer service.
  22. Memories of teaching a CLS class. Looks like the 100th over in your neck of the woods Daniel.
  23. That was awesome. Made me almost want to call him. It is a good deal.
  24. It was re-chambered for the 7.62 CETME round. Which Spain adopted in the 50's after switching from the Mauser to the CETME rifle. H&K licensed the CETME and called it the G3 and adopted the 7.62 NATO round. You need to be careful what you shoot through it. They are called the FR7 for the small ring and the FR8 for the large ring. Same as the 7.62 X 51 NATO but lower powered with a lighter bullet.
  25. What sucks in the old days was being the stick's Medic. We carried a .45 plus normal load and that big ass M5 aid bag. Then everbody states give some more to "Doc", end up with belts for the 60, extra frags, shells for the blooper, batteries for the radioman and the rest of the sticks sanitary napkins. S***t on a bunch of paratroopers. I quit.
