  1. Welcome

    New H&K MR762!!!

I don't get it. Piston Vs Direct Impingement. It mater's on full auto (ie a bunch of rounds shot) One over the other is not more accurate. Most of us don't carry in a environment or shoot enough to ever see this problem prior to cleaning. You could buy two or three DMPS for the price of one HK.

    ++ 100. Go for it.
  4. Happy Birthday!!! Glad you finally reached puberty.
  5. I have a Interarms Pre S&W PPK and it feeds everything.
  6. Good for him. Here's a 74 yo Doc going through Ft Benning. Army doc, 74, ready to deploy to Afghanistan - U.S. news - Military - msnbc.com
  7. I am also having the worst problems with moles this year. I've tried flooding, baiting, trapping and just letting the dogs did them up/. I 'm going to try the Juicy Friut Gum.
  8. Congrats, I remember the feeling.
  9. HATERS!!! Everyone of you would hit it given the chance. LOL
  10. I don't know about the two revolvers that were traded. i do know what happened to me when I did business there and stand by that. These issues were with a older guy named Jim that worked there and was witness by other employees. I have not seen him there for some time. I still go there and buy something each time I go in. Ammo, reloading etc , etc. I just have not tried to purchase a firearm since then.

    I need AR info

I have this option in a complete rifle from S&W. I t is my favorite also and cheap to shoot. I also own a couple of DPMS rifles and find them a outstanding value for the money. But I feel the S&W is better built with a lifetime warranty.
  12. Im own a LR308 AP4 w/16" barrell and it wil shoot MOA if you do your part. It's weight empty is 8.25 with a extended lenghth for 38". It is compact and not to hard on carry. Mine was around 1100.00.
  13. Dang, sounds like someone needs to spend some of that big money on ESL and Civics classes for the path to citizenship. He will probably take the free classes that are offered with his socialist agenda.
  14. Now that just struck me as too funny!!!! LOL
  15. It's his business and his money invested he can run it the way he wants. You have a state issued HCP you should be able to carry at a state ran range IMO!!! You can chose where you want to go. Thats what is so great about this country!
  16. The Equinox and SAS models go through the Custom Shop. It should be roll marked under the ejection port
  17. I know the insurance rates are high on gunshops. having a range takes it to another level. Some in SC have posted you may not touch or pull out the weapon out while in the holster. A store employee must pull and clear it if for some reason you need to take it out while on their premises. I have also seen allot of people with HCP's that don't know what the hell they are doing. Just because you have a HCP doesn't make you proficient. I have been in two stores in TN that this is also posted. That the pistol must remain in the holster at all time and no hands on. COOP, those going to Stones River can't carry there either. All weapons have to be cased. I'm not in agreement with this owner's stance. Plus at the cost of $20.00 to shoot. How many of us spend all day at the range unless with a group.
  18. My bad. In my earlier report I shot a G17 Gen 4. Not a 19. Would like to hear a report on this also.
  19. As what distance was that shot? What grain and where can you find the SA surplus. I was using the factory optic. Most on here have the rail option with mixed types of sights. I shot Privi, PMC X-TAC, Remington and Silver Bear. The X-Tac green tip 62 gr seemed to be the most accurate with 4" Groups.
  20. I ordered a complete DPMS AR lower with T6 Stock a few years ago from the Reloaders Bench It took weeks for it to come in. I got a call and they tried to sell(Pass Off) a "CAST" DMPS lower assembly as new. A few months later I wanted a DPMS LR 308 AP4. I was told it could not be had and a year wait. I got one seven days later for 800.00 less. I had purchased a few guns here when I first moved to the area. All of these bad dealings was with a guy named Jim. The last couple of time I went in to buy reloading components he has not been there. The really young blond headed guy that works there is a good guy. It is a business, but if you want repeat business you have to do people right. If it wasn't for reloading I wouldn't waste my time at the Bench.
  21. Went to the range today with my STG. With the neu-trigger installed it was a vast improvment. No take up and crisp. I shot a variety of ammo through it trying to fing out what it liked. It fed 150 rds without a hick up, same trigger pull. It was not as accurate as my S&W AR in 5.45 Russian. I still need to work on the STG's pet load.
  22. I got my EFMB 30 years ago. I didn't realize that the task had changed so much from medical. I was one of 12 out of 160 that went for it when 3rd ID was in Germany. It was my second attempt. I know people that have tried four times and gave up. The road march was three hours then. That was with the old school backpack with tankers roll and buttpack.
  23. I rented one to see if I would like it better than my Gen 2. I put a box through it. Since it was a rental it appeared to be broke in. I had some FTF and FTB. The reset felt different. I will keep my Gen 2. At the Fort I have let a few people shoot my Gen 2 and they liked it. Two of my colleagues went out and bought GEN 2's also. It's the finger groves for me that I don't like.
  24. I installed mine yesterday. I noticed an improvement on take up. The pull feels a little lighter. I hope to shoot it tomorrow.
  25. I would also like to know where in Lebanon.
