  1. Normally on a military model P1 it will have a month/day code on the left hand side of the pistol on the slide by the barrel. This is on the model with the hex pin reinforced frame.
  2. I am on the hunt for a 29SF. Get you some Double Tap Ammo. I like there 135gr Nosler.
  3. Cool. Very different. I like the Russian ones. You can't complain about the price of ammo.
  4. It has been discussed in this thread. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/long-guns/47823-remington-700-unintentional-fire.html?highlight=REMINGTON+700

    WASR 10/63 Question

Thanks for the Post. I spit my coffee all over the place after reading it. That's pretty damn funny!
  6. No on the pharmaceuticals. Did your dealer put in for a appeal? Someone stated earlier that they were having problems today with the TCIS system.
  7. It was actually at you stepbrothers place and was more like 12:30 since my watch was on Ft Jackson time.
  8. I was at a gun shop and watched a purchase around 1:30 today.
  9. I Googled children's homes/orphanages in Tennessee and got a lot of hits. Most run on donations.
  10. Why not spilt it up to a couple of charities. Some that are in the state. Some of the childrens homes/Shelter. I already do Toys for Tots and St Judes and the Red Cross.
  11. I don't know about now. But my Dad, Father in Law and my old partner in the club business all carried their snub nose in .44 special and loved them. All of these pistols are over 20 to 30 years old and they all loved them. My Dad carried his day in and out at his store in his front pocket with no holster in the 70's-thru 90's. I have often thought about buying one since my dad passed and nobody seems to know what happend to his pistol. I have looked at some and from what I can see they worked and locked up well. It is just in the finish department they lacked. In a .44 I don't know of anybody makes a pistol this size. That being said I own a couple of J-Frame S&W in .38+P.
  12. Theres a classic example of to each their own. I have owned a few Kimbers- mine all gone due to quality, fit and and or function and Kimbers spotty customer service. I own Springfield's and Dan Wesson 1911's now. My 1911 mechanic gave mine the once over and was impressed by the quality and fit of mine. I was told these pistol are limited to production once to twice a year. I had been looking for a longslide for awhile. I do own a new player a ATI FX Titan in stainless that puts many 1911's that I have owned to shame for under $500.00.
  13. Post up what the Armory has going on. Or a link.
  14. Wow, a free market economy. Who would guess. Years ago I work for a car dealer. Price haggling is the norm. My owner would get tired and mark the car down $2000.00 below true invoice and state they had to take the car now. The customer would always state they had to look further or I can get it cheaper elsewhere and leave. Then within two hours they would come screeching into the parking lot because some dealer showed them invoice. He would tell them the deal was for that moment when he made it. I saw this five or six times with not one customer taking the deal when it was offered at that moment. I learned allot about human nature from Mr Williams. This was in the 80's at a Honda store and they were selling them as soon as the truck pulled in the parking lot. You can get it cheaper elsewhere. But time and travel is worth money also.
  15. The stuff I get is in 250 to 500 rd lots. It is 158gr LRN. i think you can buy it 50 at a time. The 20 round box is PD ammo.
  16. That is Sweet!. Makes me want to do something like that to my Long Slide to lessen the weight. What make was the slide and frame? I'm waiting on a Fusion fiber optic front sight. What brand did you go with?
  17. This is true. Even with most cards they get charged a percentage. When you pull out that Pimp Roll (Cash) with a rubber band around it changes the game at most gun shops to include pawn shops. I have got a few great deals this way.
  18. Family, Family and even more Famliy! lol
  19. I have been using GA bulk 10MM for a while. It has been consistent and accurate For .38 special I have been using Blue Bunny 158gr LRN It can be found for around 12.00 a box here in Nashville. It is accurate to say the least.
  20. I use the GA Arms bulk with good results. Their Gold Dots are good to. But my favorite is the Double Tap 135gr Nosler. I'm looking to pick up a Glock 29sf soon at Craig's in TN or Lawmens Supply here in SC.
  21. R1100R

    New toy.

Very Nice. I love my loaded.
  22. I have the Titan FX 45 in stainless. It has peformed flawless with all ammo. The fit and finish is beyond pistols that cost twice as much. The trigger is just as good. I got a chance to hold one is Matt Blue that was just as nice. Both of these are 3" officer size.
  23. 30'06 in a rifle and a 12 Guage in a shotgun. The 30'06 in one of the few where you can load below 100gr to over 200gr for a all purpose rifle.
  24. Can't help you with the song, but Snipe is some good eating.
