  1. Gongrat's. There is something about a little girl.
  2. I was looking at a S1000RR the other day. Very tempting.
  3. There are stiil all those homeless families living at that campground at 231 and I40 near Lebanon I PM'ed you about. I know my church is doing some help with them. If you want me to look into it I can.
  4. Wow! I don't get it. What needy family doesn't need food. Take that regular money and spend it on somethine else. I have a family of four and some how we use more than $200 a week. All I can say is nothing. I'm sure some homeless shelter will take the Kroger cards.
  5. You have been bitten by the bug. 452's are like 1911's. I have 4 of them. To sad they are being replaced by the 455. The jury is still out on new rifle. The prices have gone up quite a bit since first offered.

I got to hold one of these the other day. It is a very nice well made revolver.
  7. I'm with you. A couple of charites in TN would be nice.
  8. For me a Glock 19 Gen 2, my first. Although I just got a Ruger SR9c new in the box ,going to the range and will be wringing it out today. I like the way this pistol feels. I'll post up my thoughts.
  9. I agree, I have a laser than came with my P22 and it is very hard to hold still unless benched. Sounds like a gripping issue. What type of pistol?
  10. There was a guy next to me at Stones River shooting a Mossberg that looked to me like the one posted and was having issues with his. After a while he got his AR out and started shooting it. I have a M&P 15-22 and was shooting it, and have had no issues. I'm like Motonut, I love my M&P .22. The guy did come over and ask me while I was shooting my STG556 what I was shooting earlier and I told him. I ask him what was wrong with his Mossberg and he stated "everything" and walked away. That model is based on the Mossberg Plinkster which has a solid reputation.
  11. What else but my TGO name "R1100R".
  12. A eight months ago I was in a meeting with both our General's present to brief my program update due to my Colonel not being their. There was this long winded Lieutenant Colonel briefing. He paused speaking for a moment. I looked up and about 30 people people were staring at me to include the two General's. One the the Officers leaned over to me and whispered "Damn, Master Sergeant" in a low key. It seemed I unconsciously stated out loud " That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard". You could of heard a pin drop in that room. Then the Major General stated "I'll second that". The room chuckeld and I stayed away from the LTC the rest of time he was at our HQ for a visit. Everytime I see the General's to this day they crack on me about it.
  13. Beautiful Bike. Did you oreder it through Bloodworth's? I will have to drag out the Old BMW and going riding with since I live in the Mt Juliet area also.
  14. At the price listed 480.70. You can get a 4.5,5.5, 8, or NY1 trigger if you order from Glock. Also you can get adjustable, Glock NS, or Trijicon sights added at a discounted price. The 17C is 422.40. I made a mistake on pricing. You can call Glock or Craig's in Knoxville and they can tell you what the default trigger is intalled. All the ones I bought had the 5.5. On the 34 I don't know.
  15. Glock will not ship to a miliatry unit. It must go through a FFL a 4473 has to be done by the dealer or by Glock. LEO sales are different and are controlled by the ATF because it is through your department. I am in the military. I have been for a very long time. Army that is. I had to pay taxes. To Glock and to Craig's. With the way gun control is here (Fort), no Commander I know of will do this. It is now forbidden to even come on post without going through the Provost Marshal. You now have to check in out with them just to go to the recreation range even if you live off post. . I to have bought a few. It is a great program. S&W has a good one also.
  16. Let's be honest. You were still looking the entire time. Maybe that was her objective.
  17. And good Ice Cream at that. Blue Bunny ammo is made in Nashville.
  18. I have became a fan of the new ATI 1911's for the money. I have own Rocks to and liked them. But the fit an d finish on the ATI' are something else. You need to look at this new line coming out of the Philippines.
  19. From Craig's , a 34 is 480.70 and a 17C is 422.40. I have a copy of the LE price list from Glock. Edit to post correct price from list.
  20. Which they buy from Craig's. They are still discounted but not as much it you buy direct. You must pay tax no matter what if you order from Glock, they collect it . Just like Walmart. because the have a distributor in TN.
  21. The only true Glock LE dealer is Craigs in Knoxville. You can order direct from Glock and send them a FFL of a Dealer that will do the DT But you will still have to pay Glock the sales tax and shipping Then when it gets to your Dealer you pay DT fee +TCIS. Buy going to Craigs= Price +Tax+TCIS.
  22. Damn, don't hold back. tell us how you really feel.
  23. Glock has a factory in Smyrna, Ga. It is my understanding that some pistols are made in Austria and assembled here. I have heard also that this factory also produces the entire gun for the South American market because some countries do not have licensing agreements with Glock in Austria. There are some more knowledgeable than me on this board. My info came from a friends Daughter who works at Glock in Georgia. It's a couple of years old.
  24. Is been a few years, but I had a GA permit. Edited, because I was wrong. The Handgunlaw.us is a great site, thanks for posting it up.
  25. Welcome to the board and enjoy the party.
