  1. I ordered some 5.45 and .308 mags direct from C Products. It was a four month ordeal that was a huge mess. Finally got them but will go elsewhere the next time.

    Sig CPOs

I have bought a few CPO's online and have never been disapointed. They are graded starting at excellent. The grade is stamped/printed right on the case. You can call them and ask what it is.
  3. I have owned two Kimbers. Both had issues. It was there customer service that made me trade them off more so than the issues. I have a friend that owns one and swears by it.
  4. Yes every year, sometimes twice if the Army looses your shot record.
  5. I have a SR9c and I really like it. I didn't like the SR9. For me there was a big difference between the two Rugers. After I get a few more hundred rounds through it, I think my G19 will be replaced after 15 years.
  6. Don't forget to pack some pogey bait in your AWOL bag. Put a Penthouse or Playboy in your bag for good measure so your DI can have some reading material. Most of all get real small !!! Have Fun.
  7. My wife shoots Blue Bunny Ammo's 38 Plinky. I think it a 95 gr reduced recoil load. I looked for a box but can't find it. It's made right here in Nashville. I buy the 158gr Police load in bulk. Good Stuff. Maybe they can ship some to you.
  8. We built a large barn to house farm equipment and added a dwelling about it about 1800 sf with three bedrooms above it. Needless to say the house was never built. We ended up selling the 500 acres and to this day there is no house only the foundation. It was a great place.
  9. I understand he does good work and is resonable. I have a pistol for him to do. I know his wife was expecting to have a baby at any time when I was in contact with him a few weeks ago. So give him some time to get back to you.
  10. I got the classic. The sights are made by Ameriglo. Once machined the y are sent out to trijicon to have the tubes installed then sent back for packaging. My understanding is very few people have the licensing to handle tritium. AmeriGlo Tritium Night Sights
  11. I put the Ameriglo on my G30. The tritium tubes are installed by Trijicon and the sights are marked that way.
  12. Were going 3/20-3/26.
  13. I am going with my Family in March. We're staying at one of the Rosen properties due to a contact i have there. There are discount tickets at the MWR office on post.(Morale, Welfare and Recreation Office) I understand they are a good deal.
  14. Keng's Firearms Specialty in Atlanta. They are still in business under Versa Pod. They were great people to deal with in the 80-90's before the ban on Chinese Weapons Poly Tech also made a copy of the M14/M1A.
  15. Call the Safe House. I think they offer this type of service. The Safe House - Commercial and Residential Safes - Safe Movers
  16. Glad you are back. Good luck to you.

    Ruger SR9C Pron

I am talking about the Yellow Box UMC 250 count 9mm made buy Remington. Their budget line . I believe this is what the others are talking about, especially when shot in a SR9C.
  19. They are great handguns. i have Contenders that I have had for over 30 years.
  20. I went today and it was ok. I still miss the ones in Atlanta. Not enough firearm vendors. There was no beef jerky though.

    Ruger SR9C Pron

I tried this also and it worked at first. But after I put it back in the safe with the slide forward it went back to gnarly. It does seem to get better the more you shoot. I have racked several of these at stores and they were all the same. All I can say is that it is stiff. I have been carrying it in a Sticky Holster about 4 o'clock and it carries well. Not as block- ish as the G19 due to the smooth edges. This is with the short mag.

    Ruger SR9C Pron

I just recently got the all black version. Stay away from UMC/Remington ammo. It caused major problems in mine.I really like the feel and the way this pistol shoots. I have a Glock 19 for years that was my primary go to weapon. The sights are better on the Ruger and it seems to be a little more accurate. My only complaint is the slide is the hardest I have ever tried to rack. You are really going to like it.
  23. You are dead on about the UMC Remington. I bought a new SR9c and took a 250 count box of UMC to wring it out. I had nothing but problems. I almost sent the pistol back to Ruger I was so pissed off about the performance. I Googled the issue and found a bunch of people were having issues with the UMC/ Ruger combination. I took some federal and two boxes of really good reloads and the pistol performed solid. It does have the hardest slide to rack that I have ever tried.
  24. My Son and I went through two boxes of Golden bullets last weekend with no issue. I bought them over a year ago. Could be a bad batch. We used a .22 Ar15, Walther P22, Rossi .22 and a 10/22 with varoius other .22 pistols with no issues. one or two misfires per box.
  25. It look just like mine. Go shoot it.
