  1. I have a CMMG and it works great. But it is no where near as accurate as my S&W M&P 15-22.
  2. What a thread!! I have learned a lot from it. Carry On.
  3. In the 70-80's I used to see a lot of them while I was in the Army. A lot of te old school/instructors used them. This was in Central and South America. They were quite popular. Until you posted the website I had forgotten about them. They are very sturdy from what I remember. I might have to look at one.
  4. I went by to check on him the day after and all is well. I also remember/lived that incident on here. Over the years I have gotten some extremly good deals at East Side Gun. He is working on his security issues.

    .22 semiautomatic

Hammerli/SIG Trailside, now sold under the Xesse/Hammerli trademark. Used around 400.00. But as most said for the money a Ruger. I had one 30 years ago and sold it. I have about 15 .22 pistols from Walther P22 to Hi Standards. My kids love the P22 because the grip inserts fit many different hands.
  6. My wife tried to tile over Vinyl while I was away in the Army. The tiles kept cracking all over the place. She stated it was a full time job doing the replacements. In the end she called in the pro's and they laid backing board over the 3/4in flooring and did a re install. Since then we have had no issues.
  7. I have the exact same one. Mine came with the the standard Sig contrast sights.
  8. There is a vendor on here " The Safe House". They will hook you up.
  9. Welcome from a Wilson Co resident.
  10. You're going to like that SIG. I have a SIG Custom Shop Elite 220 SAO and the triggers are awesome.
  11. I have a 516 that uses 123's. I have yet to replace them over 2-3 years. I like it because it uses the batteries my flash lights use, Plus the buttons are on the side for when I use a magnifier.
  12. Another on to look at is the new ATI FX series of .45's. They are made in the Philippines, The models I have seen and the one that I bought were very well fitted and had a excellent trigger out of the box. I showed mine to two 1911 gunsmiths and they were both impressed. That being said, I would look at a base model Springfield to build from. My GI .45 is one of my favorites.
  13. I had a guy in the lane next to me shooting the Mossberg. It wouldn't get through a clip. He asked what I was shooting earlier. I stated a 15/22. I let him shoot mine and you should have seen his face. My 15/22 feeds and shoots anything. I bet he went and bought one.
  14. That's GI's for you in their downtime. That is definitely a LOD with a NO marked in the box. As a 1SG for quite a few years I have dealt with some unbelievable stuff.

  17. Now thats what I'm talking about. I found one in GA. But it's looking like a modified hand held M203 is in the buget.
  18. I have used this service a few times. He does great work . Bill Springfield - www.TriggerWork.net
  19. Nice blade, I am going to get a ZT one of these days.
  20. Very nice. I like the one on top.
  21. This is great fun to do with your Son. + 1 on the graphite powder and the sanding/ filing of the flash on the axle heads. Some of these cars were unreal. You could see the expression on the dad's face when they lost. Another one is the pine wood rocket. My scout pack had big fun with it.
  22. In the old days to break in the old Legg boots (infantry) We use linseed and mink oil. A mixture.
  23. gregintenn has made me a most excellent holster. But by the pickture you posted I thought The Saddle Shop would be more inline due to the hardware needed to make what you wanted. B
  24. John Wall at Eastside is your man. He has worked on my wheel guns, autos and rifles. His prices are the best I found
  25. Nice shotty. I was at Bill's and was 15 minutes late from buying the other Saiga he had.
