  1. DMark, what did you do with the pearl grips from the original purchase? I liked them, not the gold screws though. Growing up in the 60's a lot of Gentleman and some not so Gentlemanly were know to sport the infamous Pearl Grips. I feel a Super 38 will be in my collection soon. BTW great looking pistol.

    SKS

I have had about 15 Norinco SKS's all of them were more cosmolineed up than any Mosin-Nagant that have ever cleaned. I used gasoline to clean them out. One of mine still oozes out that crap when hot. make sure you completely dis assemble it to inclued the gas system. It is more like a wax than cosmoline.
  3. My yard is so mess up by moles I don't know where to begin. They reeked havoc on my whole yard while I was mobilized.
  4. They had them at the Outpost Armory. Thet were high. I got mine at AIM surplus.

  6. I have had a 21A for over twenty years. It had to have a new trigger bar spring install a few years back. They can be finicky on ammo as stated.

    Belleville Boots

Bellville makes issue boots and one that are sold at the PX that are a different model. The issue boots are OK. But the upgrades are better. I wear the Danner FX which is like wearing a sport shoe. Converse also makes a very lightweight good wearing boot. . Make sure you try on what you get, sizes are different from pair to pair even if they are the same size. What size do you wear? I have a few issue NIB Black Leather Isuue and the tan desert issue on hand.

From Merriam Webster noun Definition of CLIP 1: any of various devices that grip, clasp, or hook 2: a device to hold cartridges for charging the magazines of some rifles; also : a magazine from which ammunition is fed into the chamber of a firearm 3: a piece of jewelry held in position by a clip
  15. When at Ft Benning, all of those crusty old Warrant Officers from the AMU swear by the Garrand in .308. Most are retired and run the ranges there. I was told all that was needed was a re-barrel and a adaptor block. The Air Force and the Navy had them made in .308. There is plenty on the subject on the internet.
  16. I would give them a call. I met the owner while stationed in SC. He gave me a tour of their new facility. They are even opening a range there. I have purchased firearma and mail order from them with no issues.
