  1. Nein, Nyet, Nada & No. You are going to blow yourself up. LOL
  2. I have a super 14" in 44 MAG and a 10" in .223. I have had mine over 30 years. What is this easy mod opening you mentioned and what did it cost? They are alot of fun to shoot and hunt with.
  3. I just so happen to have a 8X Unertl. It is not quite as long as the one pictured but has the correct period rings that do the adjustments. Not the later micro click. It also has the recoil spring. No Wood Box or end caps. End caps can be made. I have been sitting on this for over 20 years. If interested PM me and you can look at it. I know we live near each other. BTW, it is a beautiful rifle you have built. I have used the Boyd's wood on one of my Garands I refinished.
  4. Both of my my PSA lowers are tapped until about the last few MM. The grip screw snugs just about even with the shelf inside the receiver.

    5.45x39 AR upper

I have had one for a couple of years. It very accurate with the surplus compared to my AK's. I went with the S&W. CDNN had them on sale a couple of weeks ago for around $500.00.
  12. When I was younger my Uncle took me to the Isle of Man TT. He was a Privateer that ran a John Player Norton. It was a great and special trip for me one of my favorite memories. They have talked about canceling this race for years due to the wrecks. Thanks for sharing it. It made me go get my pictures out . It was over 40 years ago.
  13. I'm right at the Nap point myself. I think I can make it to the Hammock!
  14. Bushnell TRS 25. i know you are all about some Amazon .Amazon.com: Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 1xRed Dot Sight Riflescope: Sports & Outdoors
  15. ^^^^^^^ He's the one to go see.
  16. I don't think RAA is in business anymore???? I just bought a Saiga 5.45 two days ago and it was imported by Legion USA in Florida The place where RAA is normaly engraved was covered over and roughed up that looks like a patch of Velcro. Legion LTD is a subsidiary of the Izhmash factory in Russia that produces the Saiga. Maybe there setting up shop in the USA.
  17. Hater, that is because you have never shot a 5.45:). I have my third one being delivered today in the hood to Eastside Gun Shop. To the OP you really should try both, then make a decision. My 5.45 are way more accurate than the 7.62's I own. I vote for being greedy and owning one of each.
  18. I have two with the pistol grips on them. I like them. They seem to fill the hand better to me when the standard grip feels too skinny. I have small hands. After 35 years of shooting AR's I have always thought the pistol grips and handguards could have been done better. I have a ERGO grip on it's way to try on a new build.
  19. What a great story.
  20. I have one of these for over three years. I have also had no issues with tumbling. Most that i know of was with 70 grain Wolf. I have shot nothing but 52-55 grain surplus with typical AK results for a short stock folder. Have fun!!
  21. All of my 220's choked on SWC. Even the famed Remington 185 Match 185gr's. Even my friends 220 choked on SWC. I believe it is the ramp and throating of the barrel. All of my 1911's from officer to full size, no matter what the price point feeds them well. I am sure someone more knowledgeable than I can weigh in.
  22. You should of put your Hottie in the picture! I damn near lost dinner when I saw it was you.
  23. Very nice 41. I'm glad you picked it up.lol I was a email behind you. It looks like a fine pistol. They are fine shooting. I own a few .22 pistols to include Hi Standards and Hammerli's. A fine .22 is a SIG Trailside (Hammerli). They are not carried by SIG anymore but still can be found. I"m looking at getting a 22/45. Rugers do make a good .22 pistol. Great Review.
  24. Congrats, very nice truck.
  25. I was in the other day, but I was too busy looking at other things to notice!! lol
