    New Tikka

I have a full stock Sako Finnbear which has been my go to hunting rifle for over 30 years. Sako is the parent company of Tikka. The are well made rifles and are known for there accuracy.
  2. I clean mine immediately when shooting surplus ammo. The others about every third trip. I do wipe them down and run a bore snake or mop down the bore and add a drop or two of oil here and there after each use.
  3. I also prefer the saw grip. But on my upcoming Saiga conversion I am looking at the houge or ergo for this AK. I run them both my AR's. I like the Ergo due to the stickiness of the grip. Carolina Shooters Supply has a good assortment.
  4. Very nice work. I have a couple I need to get done, never enough time.
  5. It depends on what type Red Dot vs Holographic. A lot has to do with a persons eyesight. I have to find the sweet spot depending on which sight, no two are the same if you wear corrective lens or have a astigmatism.

    Prayers

    Prayers said.
  7. The unit now is a Reserve unit called the 81st Regional Support Command. It is at FT Jackson, SC where the unit started during WW1 They were known as the wildcat division. They were the first Army Unit to be awarded to wear a unit patch The wildcat patch. They have a museum at the Headquarters. The curator of the Museum is Dr/LTC Boyd. I can get you his number if you would like to ask him some questions. The 81st at one time had 55,000 soldiers assigned to it. I just left there in December. The unit still has meetings with all the old Vets and do events in period uniforms. Ft Jackson is in Columbia, SC. It is the only Fort that is annexed as part of the city. The land was donated by the city. BTW the last picture is dog tags.
  8. Nice, ask Megan to borrow her camera next time. Better yet get her to take the pictures. She stated it was a nice Pow Pow.
  9. I have a 516 EOTECH and it has a 7 MM riser built in to give you a lower third co-wittiness
  10. I own both. I feel the fit and finish on the ATI was much better. The ATI shot better also. But I feel for the money they are both great pistols. One this to note. The customer service at Rock Island is better than ATI. They CS at RI was a bit more professional on the phone.
  11. The Old Mill Restaurant in Pigeon Forge is wonderful. Go really hungry. It is a lot of food. next time we go we will skip Lunch.
  12. I had a member try to jack me on here. I posted up some negative feedback on him. I believe he got a temporary ban on here. He has not been heard from since. I assume the deal was made through the board.
  13. Try Ruger, Sights-Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc.
  14. Can you tell me the value of? Obama vs Whoever ATF vs Tin Foil Hat Maple or Boysenberry Syrup 45 vs 9 vs 40 .380ACP as a self defense round
  15. I have on in the ATI stock and love it. Has a big Tru-Glo red dot on it and pretty accurate. I haven't heard anything about the warranty being void for using a ATI stock. What does it do?
  16. Steve Feinberg founded and runs Cerberus. Steve Feinberg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  17. Franklin Gun Shop by far. Hard to get someone to wait on you, but great selection.

    Colt Mustang

I have had a Goverment 380 for years, bought it in the early 80's. They are great pistols.
  21. Aim Surplus
  22. Welcome, I just left FT Jackson in December for a second time. . I was a DS there many years ago. Now stationed in Nashville.
  23. 125
  24. What's funny about that is I was just reassigned from FT Jackson. His Uncle, COL Larry Smith was one the officers I worked with at Ft Jackson in Columbia, SC. . He drove all over to see him play until he got hurt at the end of the year. I think Vandy can keep Larry he is too accident prone.
  25. It was a ugly game. But the Gamecocks still won. I for one am happy. We seriously need to look for a new Quarterback.
