  1. I went with a Siaga in 5.45 and did the conversion with parts from Carolina Shooters supply. Around $550. It can be done cheaper. Just depends on the conversion kit purchased. It is a Russian made AK.

    Rest in Peace, Mars
  3. Got to D&T in Rivergate. Great people to do business with. Have done transfers for many on here. Tell them your a TGO'er and they do it at a discount.
  4. This is true. But it still has to be shipped to a dealer and transfer fees have to be paid.
  5. I know you never forget the first time you shoot one> LOL
  6. Yes, you have to pay what taxes are in Knoxville plus TCIS. That is for regular Glocks. The .45 and 10 MM are 464.00. The ..45 GAP are around 414.00.
  7. This is the dealer for TN. The LE/MIL sub dealers must buy from him. Then they mark them up. The guy's at Craig's are great to deal with. The issue is do you want to drive to Knoxville to save roughly $100.00. But they do night sights cheap while you wait. My Ameriglos were $70 installed.
  8. I bought a gun belt from her last fall. She was very nice. I hate to hear this.
  9. I'm here. Spent all day on a plane sitting around aiirports. I like the new look.

I have the AP4 model and love it.
  11. That's odd they have a retail store in front of their warehouse. Been there many times.
  12. Where did you get her at? Over in the hood!!! LOL
  13. I watched a guy order one at a LGS. He came back to buy one but i was sold on layaway I believe. It was all I could do to keep a straight face. But I had my son with me and he kept talking about how cool it was. 12 yo Boys what in the hell do they know. LOL
  14. I got a CM9 in November. Still waiting on my free 7 round magazine from the rebate offer. I haven't got mine past the 200 round mark yet. I need to look up on the Kahr forum to see what this break in technique is you mentioned. Overall I think it is the best micro 9mm I have shot. You sure can't complain about the price.
  15. I have a Mdl 15-2 and the Pistol Pack from Dan Wesson. You are going to be more than happy.
  16. The Big deal is the contract guards wear the exact same color uniform as the DOD Police that have the same powers as a federal law enforcement officers. I have seen them at the gate also. Most entrances will list what items are contraband prior to entry. I know at FT Jackson all weapons brought on post must be registered at the Police Station. Even if you are just going to the range and leaving. No carry and packaged up. Every Post Commander is allowed to set his own policy base along certain guidelines.. This is for the Army. It has caused a big stink at the Town Hall Meetings.
  17. HaHa, I got my wife to move mine into place. It was dropped inside the garage in her way.
  18. I did this a while back. My big thing was the differences in the powder charge. It was all over the place some by 6 grains. This was the black box Wolf. The bullets were .309 to .311. The Silver Bear was much more consistent. But Golden Tiger being the best but very dirty. I cought hell getting them separated with a bullet puller hammer due to the sealant used on the neck of the case.
  19. I 've ordered from them quite a bit. The only problem I had was the first time they offered the $49 Lowers. it was on a Fathers Day. It took over three weeks to get them. But they sent me a email stating that. I think they got caugt off guard. Anthing that needs to be built takes awhile. If you order anything during one of there crazy sale periods the same way. I used to be stationed at FT Jackson in the same town where PSA is located. They are still in growing pains but have been great to deal with.
  20. I like the Silver Bear. When the Chi-Com stuff was available it was the best. I'm just now checking out the Hornaday Steel case in 5.45.
  21. A SAO SIG is a nice pistol if your into 1911 type trigger with SIG reliability. I sold mine a few months ago. But I am looking at a 220 SAO Compact.
  22. I have one that I bought off my Detachment Sergeant in 1980 with four magazines for $125.00. It is a fun and accurate pistol. The new Hi Standard in Texas is starting to make them again. Like your pistol, mine has a lot of memories attached to it.

    Sig P210

I got to handle one recently also. $2700.00. To me they are not as nice as the original Swiss made one for the military/civilian models. New ones are made in Germany and now called a "P210 Legend" due to different frame. I still want one. But I'm looking for a Swiss made one.
  24. I just got a Kahr CM9. It is a great little pistol.
  25. What about Bob Pope's comments? “It makes no sense when up to two-thirds of the guns sold at a gun show or at a flea market or at a swap meet or wherever there is no records check done. It’s asinine,” said Bob Pope, a Hermitage resident who ran a gun shop for eight years and organized gun shows for 26 years. “It should be run on everybody. I glad he is out of the business. Kudos, to the Rabbi for his comments.
