  1. RWF, Magiccarpetrides and I both sent a Hi Power to Tim. We are having adjustable Novak rears with Novak FO fronts installed. He's cutting dovetail's in the slides. Magic is having some slide cuts down like yours. I want to have mine flat topped with serration's if it can be done.
  2. Man those look great. I have two hi powers with Tim now.
  3. I have a 30sf. It's a great pistol. On the lookout for a G21sf.

    Trade or no trade

    No , keep the SIG
  5. Wait till you get offers of household appliances and farm animals to trade. LOL I have met some truly great people on here from doing deals. But of late I have met some bad ones. They act like you just fell off a turnip truck. I probaly have once or twice but I explain at least I owned the truck I fell off.

    Dan Wesson 15-2

They are a addiction. I'm on the look out for a .22 DW and also the 10" and 12" factory barrels to complete my collection of all facory barrels made for the 15-2 Pistol pack I have. The .22 Dan Wessons are bringing crazy money right now.
  8. RWF, I think you did pretty good. I was having issues with my .308 AR on Friday with a scope at 300m. Also my Sabre 5.56 sporting a new Leupold mark AR 3X9, I couldn't even get on paper before I ran out of time' I did get my CZ Full Stock 22 Mag sighted in and my Son wore out two boxes of ammo through it. My new 10/22 Ruger Take Down just would not feed from the magazine, got it sighted in though. So now I'm going through it. It was a rough day at the range. They happen to all of us. My Mdl 41 I just got back from having customized shot like a dream though. I just started wearing glasses the last year and bifocals at that. Getting old sucks. I'm still on the fence about the whole 6.8, 300ACC or a 7.62X39 upper. I still want to get out to see your 6.8 rifle. Your not really that far away. I'd say pick a load that appears to popular and dial it in. I did put a two stage Match RRA trigger in my .308 and it made a world of difference over the stock.
  9. Sam Hoster in Gallatin. He has done a few older items for me. Even rusted and pitted and it came out great. He is a Master Gunsmith and does great work. Complete Gun Shop (615) 206-0075 308 S Water Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066
  10. I have used the regular Winchester and Remington 130 to 150 gr. Available at Walmart, Big Box Stores and the little country hardware store. Just dial your rifle in to that load you buy. I have shot many a deer and hogs with this type ammo. Go look around on their site. Weatherby recommends a two box break in. I'm like gregintenn, I wouldn't look to much into it. The Vanguard is a fine rifle. Every Weatherby I have every shot has been accurate. http://www.weatherby...ory-22194-26373
  11. A steamer to start with then Mineral Spirits.
  12. Bubba, It was not as expensive as you think.

    Dan Wesson 15-2

Here is my pistol pack to include a 15" barrel. I bought this at FT Hood in 1980. Unfortunately the actual pistol was stolen with the 2" barrel in 1986. I picked up another Monsoon,MA frame in 1989. The 2" barrel sported on the pistol now came from CZ/Dan Wesson about two years ago.
  14. I got this Mdl 41 awhile back. It had some pitting and chipped grips. I sent to Eric Kovachic at EWK Arms and he machined the slide to give it a ventilated rib. He also did a Dan Wesson front sight conversion so I could swap out front sight blades. He also drill and tapped the slide for a mount if I wanted to put a optic on it. He then polished and blued the entire top end. According to my scales it dropped almost three ounces of the pistol. I then finished up with some Altamont Custom Rosewood Grips. I like the way it turned out. It is a shooter also. I think Eric did a wonderful job. He is in the process of making/developing a field barrel with a suppressor mount. I could of had the suppressor mount machined into this one for and additional $95.00. I decided to wait on the field barrel which will be shorter in length.
  15. Call out to the Nashville Gun Club. Speak to Kathrine. She should be able to point you in the right direction. John Walls is a great instructor on the Shotgun he works there also and can probably get you hook up with female instructor http://nashvillegunclub.com/

    New M&P 15-22

We love ours. Make sure you pick up some extra magazines.
  21. That's too funny. Love my DW CBOB 10MM.
  22. Nice job. Is the pistol hard chromed or matt stainless?
  23. The 3X9 with a Plex reticule was right at $300.00.
  24. Looks great. Is this your 2nd Delta Elite? 10MM or 45? Colonel, I'm still wanting a 38 Super after you posted your custom a while back. Since we live so close to each other I would love to peak in your safe some day. I just had a Model 41 S&W customized in the last few weeks. The smith did a excellent job. I took some pictures of mine and the new bluing looks the same way after wards. I keep it oiled and it gets deeper every day. I'm going to post up pictures as soon as I get my new custom grips. Magiccarpetrides and I have a pair of Hi-Powers off to Calhoun Custom Firearms, a member here. We are going to have them Pimped/BBQ gunned out. Mine is a rare alloy framed one and Magics is a old school ribbed topped slide. LOL
