  1. Ruger T/D is my vote. We also have the Rossi Combo in .22/ 20G which is a nice package. The Browning SA22 is a take down along with its clone the Norinco ADT-22. The rifle is very light although the Browning is a little pricey.
  2. D&T Arms in Goodlettesville. Across from Rivergate. Let them know you are a member here on TGO for a discount.

    MSAR STG E4 Rifle

When I got my STG the AUG was 1400.00 more. The AUG now is $1000 more that I paid for mine. That is a big difference.
  4. I got to hold one of these this past weekend at the Knoxville gun show. I was impressed with the compact model with the quick sights and might have to take a look at one. They were $400. I want to shoot one before I make a decision. According to there website they a going to release a sub compact soon.
  5. We were in Knoxville this weekend for a track meet. Also stopped by the gun show and talked to david for a minute. Didn't see any good buys. was looking for some old military rifle parts with no luck. Son got some beef jerky and para cord for braiding though. LOL Nice day out.
  6. I have ordered from them online and been is there brick and motor store often. I have had only one issue with stuff being lated and that was the first Fathers Day sale they had lowers for $49. It took about 5 weeks for me to get my items. I have ordered uppers from them with no issue, 21-30 days and I knew up front. They once sent me someting wrong and told me to keep it and resent what I wanted and took three days I just orderd a bunch of ammo on the 17th and according to UPS they are delivering it on the 22nd. I know with some it has been hit and miss but it has worked for me due to the prices. I have been jacked by more local dealers on special order items than PSA.

    MSAR STG E4 Rifle

I and a couple of others have the last GEN of the STG-556. We have had no issues and I really like mine after I install device called the NEU-TRIGGER which was around 30 bucks and made a world of difference with the trigger. MSAR is back up and running in Pennsylvania. Full parts are available. RATWORX thou gt they were going to get it but they will be going with the Steyr AUG and some aftermarket parts for the STG. http://www.msarinc.com/
  8. Where is the show at on Knoxville. I'm over here for state cross country meet.
  9. I have used a product called Lin-Speed for years with great reaults on my old military rifles. The last I got was from brownell's. I'm doing a K-31 and K98 right now.
  10. PSA and SGAmmo both have it for $300 per 1000 right now. It is the best I have seen it in awhile.
  11. I wanted to go with a full size polymer pistol for a while. I tried a GEN 4 Model 21 Glock with the smallest strap which is supposed to mimic the SF frame and I couldn't get by the grip feel. I was at a LEO dealer and tried the S&W M&P's also and did not care for the trigger or reset. . I ended up buying a GEN 3 Glock 20 SF 10MM because the feel and trigger just suited me best. Now for a set of HEINES straight eights and a extended slide release and I will be set. Get what you think is best and shoot well with.
  12. Nate, what caliber did you go with on the VEPR?
  13. I couldn't be happier. South Carolina over Georgia. "Go Cocks"!!!
  14. I got to handle one at the LGS. It rattled worse than a baby's rattle. It was used with supposedly 200 round through it. I might look at one again someday. I went with a longslide Springfield
  15. I got mine with the Mount Juliet Police Department. There were different prices for if you were a city, county or state residence . It was well run and we provided our own ammo and firearm.
  16. Hi Power Walther P38/P1 Glock 17
  17. Well it's looks like NC State let some down. Tennessee looked good tonight.
  18. Congratulations to you both.
  19. I know I'm happy!!! Went to the game with the kids and got soaked twice. It was a good game.
  20. I got a Bushnell TRS-25 off Amazon for around $80.00 and has been a great sight mounted on my 5.45 AR. I have some of the cheap BEC's MiraDot for over 10 years from CDNN and they work great on my .22's.
  21. Awe, come on. You mean to tell me when you ask for some thing and they didn't have it and they try to sell you something else. Or why you don't want that and they have something better. LOL
  22. I have a ton of stories for the Guy that works in the Gun Shop. LOL

    M&P 15-22?

Best bang for the buck I have spent in a long while. We love ours. Buy extra mags.
  24. I met some women that were in the Israeli Amy that were snipers.
  25. I have one and the Norinco clone of one the ATD. They are great little rifles. The SA-22 were made in a couple of places to include Japan. All the grade/places's built can be confusing for pricing. The ATD can be had for 200-250. They are still in production. They takedown for a small package. I have the new Ruger Take Down 10/22 and it is still a bigger package and needed work right out of the box. I got mine due to shooting as a youth in the 60's-70's. They are both accurate also with great iron sights.
