  1. He needs to use his GI BILL now. Once you get out of the Guard or Reserves it is no longer any good. It is different for active duty. If he was mobilized he qualified for the post 9/11 GI bill that is good up to three years. My wife did 8 years in the Reserve and end up with NOTHING once she got out. Once the 9/11 bill passed she got three year. Have him call the VA. There are people at the the VA that deal with this every day.
  2. Put it in a sled and shoot it. Try this first before cutting on it
  3. FT Knox also A-18-4 in 1976 . Drill Sergeant at FT Jackson from 83-85.   I still hate trainees to this day!!  LOL
  4. Trades are usually negotiated from current market price new or what was actually paid for the item. Cash equals the price for what the item sells for used. Most time there is more value added when you trade.   This does not apply to houses and cars. LOL   Like you I usually like to pay cash. The above is how I see it. :usa:
  5. Good one.

  10. I told my 14 year old to go out and straighten out my stash and put it in order by caliber. He came back in and stated that it makes my head hurt. Daddy this is going to be a weekend project I just laughed and told him to go on. Lol
  11. Come on now I know there are some more hoarders on here? :)   I mean sitting FAT. I don't even know what all I have and to lazy to go looK !!!
  12. I was wondering how many of us on here are sitting good in the area of ammunition with no care in any area?   I know for sure I'm not standing in line, driving around looking for anything. After 2008 and six month prior to the election I stocked up.   I for one have plenty in all calibers that I use. I have even sold some of the surplus I have.
  13. I've been looking for a M92 after talking to Smith. The  prices are coming down. I just got a dealer flyer for the M85 PV which is the .223 version for $639.00. I'm wanting a 7.62 version. Before the madness these were around $500.00.
  14.     To true.  It is already happening in some areas.
  15.     This is true, but it is 50/50 on whether that pin comes out easy. Some of them are really in there and I have seen a few idiot marks in my day from trying to knock them out. Some even required a press.
  16. Dolomite,   There you go again, presenting a logical idea and fact. Now you are going to upset the balance. What are all the haters, gougers, conspiracy theorist , tin foil hat wearers and hoarders going to talk about.
