  Eric has done a lot of work for me. He is a great guy. CZ also offers DW barrels from time to time. They are making revolvers again also at a substantial price though

They are great revolvers. I have a DW pistol pack that I bought new in 1979. It has from 2" to 15" barrels. It is a fair price. Mine is also a 15-2.

Maybe blurred was the wrong word other than I see the dot out of focus. I have Presbyopia in both eyes. Thought it was a astigmatism. This was what the Doctor told me before I ever wore glasses. I got hooked up with a perscription for shooting because at the time I had to quailify with a red dot on my weapon.   Might want to look it up.   I bought a used SIG red dot at a local GS for $20.00 yesterday and the dot looks perfect to me. Go figure.

I have been through several red dots.  They are not all created equal. Especially if you have aging eyes. I ended up with a Eotech on the expensive end. The Bushnell TRS-25 on the cheaper end.  All other dots look blurry to me as OS has described. Make sure you hold it at arms length to check it out.  New prescription eyeglasses helped also.

 I traded my kids Yamaha mini motorcycle for a really nice two toned SIG 228. :devil:   Very nice Christmas for me. The children hadn't rode the bike in years.

Price will kill this pistol in .380 if it stays inline with current glock pricing. Even if it was a single stack nine the  Price point will need to be inline also..

A member on this board that goes by the name Smith, father is a engraver here in  Nashville.  He engraved a 1911  Long slide for me. He did a excellent job for me. I still owe this board some pictures. There is also a example in the classifieds right now, it is a 9 mm S&W revolver. Smith works at D&T arms or you can PM him here on the board. Or you can Google. Normally your score sheet with a letter from your CO stating you have received XX hours of handgun training on letter head will suffice for the class room/shooting portion of your application.

          Some of the finest soldiers I know have been O5 and above.  I've learned a lot from them over my service in the military now going on 37+ years.   That being said this guy is not one of them.
