  1. It was in store. Told me it was something they just started.
  2. Academy Sports is now offering stripped lowers from Ruger ($79) and Savage ($69). I picked up a Savage and liked the quality. It even has a extra threaded hole underneath for a tension adjustment screw. These are roughly the same price as having one transfered in.
  3. Do you have any details on where in Macon County? Nothing has been posted on their website for awhile.
  4. Very nice wheel guns. I have a collection of Contenders myself.
  5. Life member and have never used any of their discounts either.
  6. Saw in another thread someone talking about a Dan Wesson. This is my pistol pack that I have owned since 1981. I thought I would pull it out of the safe and show it off. It is a model 15-2 in .357. I love this pistol. They are great guns and very accurate.
  7. My Son just reported to his first duty station. The unit is getting ready for deployment, his first. It is a attack helicopter unit. I still worry about him all the time.

    M1 Carbine

Here is some information on the rifle from the CMP site. Just hit the subject listed in blue and it will download it I have a Inland CMP special I won in the very last lottery they had. Great rifle to shoot. I plan on reloading for it. I have been using the Korean made magazines with no issues. http://thecmp.org/cmp_sales/rifle_sales/m1-carbine/
  9. I saw one today at the Reloader's Bench in Mt Juliet.
  10. I have a set of Romanian wood off a G model. It is used military and will more than likely need refinishing if you don't want the military markings. It has the dongle wood forward hand guard. Looks like this set but with military markings. If you pm me a number I can send you pictures if your interested.
  11. Sorry for your lost. Our condolences.
  12. Whittaker's Gun shop online had them for $569.00 but sold out real quick.
  13. Very nice work!! I'm going to have to get one soon.
  14. The other former eastern block countries are already stepping up their game in this area such as the Ukraine and Romania.
  15. App and online works great. Only fee if you want to store to their cloud. Use SD cards and store your own. There fees are cheap though.
  16. I have been using Yi camera's. I have four of them and been quite happy. Sold through Amazon.
  17. Welcome to Tennessee.
  18. My baby girl shot a three point buck. It was her first. We we're hunting in central Georgia. The weather was about the same here this past weekend. There was no shortage of deer there.
  19. I carry a protech brend 2 often in dress slacks. Great knife.
  20. I think it was like two days if I remember correctly. You can call them and they will tell you what method to ship they used. At the time I ordered they were $30 cheaper than Buds. I see recently Buds has gotten in line with Grab a Gun for things I'M currently looking at.
  21. Dealt with them a couple of times. No issue. Mine was the local FFL not contacting me when it came in.
  22. Welcome back
  23. "Reeling in the Years" was the song for me. Wore it out on 8 track driving to the slot car track to race with my buddies. Great and unique music from Steely Dan. RIP Walter Becker
