  1. There is another option. Dave Severns has moved here to Mount Juliet from Nevada. http://www.severnscustom.com/ He is a well known 1911 expert gunsmith.

    New baby

Congratulations, little girls are the best.
  3. Looks fantastic. Does your friend do work on the frame for others?
  4. That is a work of art.
  5. Nice trio of pistols. I have been trying to score a 22/45 myself. Just missed one on here the other day.
  6. I got to handle one at the BAR show. Won't be replacing my Kahr anytime soon.
  7. I got some two nights ago in MY Juliet. See plenty of .308 Perfecta and the ZQI 7.62 for 6.94 a box.
  8. I had a ATI Titan in stainless also. Recoil springs and the reverse plug were replace with Colt parts. After a couple of trips to the manufacturer I gave up. Their customer service was horrible at the time, I hope it has improved
  9. Mine is a stainless. It has been great. Bought it off of Rabbi !! LOL
  10. I like my ppk/s. The newer ones have a beavertail added which was not on the original. Mine was built be Ranger in Alabama for interarms. I got it for around $400.
  11. Congrats, baby girls are awesome
  12. Duty calls that weekend. But I am going to ask the Commander off for Sunday so I can go.
  13. I bought a set of the black extreme hogues for my Hi Power custom project. They have stepped up their game.
  14. That is what he is implying. He owns his own, and they keep trying to charge him.
  15. I'm with BUBBA on this. They first chance I can drop Comcast, I will.
  16. Citadel's are a great value. I purchase one in 9mm and converted to 38 super. Very accurate pistol and half the price of a Colt in 38 Super even after the conversion.
  17. There was also quite a bit of 9mm at Mount Juliet today
  18. Depends on the finish on the pistol. It will be in the raw on each side of the cut. So cold blue or touch up will be needed. Also the firing pin stop will need to be a flat top or ground flat on top to allow it to not to have the slide drag due to the cut for the rear sight. It cuts deep into the rear of the slide. Just look at pictures and you will see. The FPS for the high power is a PIA to get back in and they break easily. Make sure you gunsmith knows to shave the top.
  19. Tim Calhoun in Kingston Springs, TN. We went with Chuck Warners custom sights for a high power. But he does Novak's.
  20. Buy the sights from Novak and have a local gunsmith do it. I had two high powers done this way.
  21. Where was that at. From what I have found out not all the stores carry PERFECTA .45 or .380.
  22. They had 6 50 rd boxes at noon. I passed was looking for .45
  23. I'm,looking also for the .40,.45, and .380. But I keep running up on the 9mm, .223 and .308. So I'm sitting real well in those areas.
