    Tempting...

I have a 220 Elite SAO Custom Shop and love it. I also have four 1911 platform guns. I like my 220's best. But there's something about a 1911. So many modifications and sizes. The 220 is a hefty pistol and does not fit smaller hands well. My wife does real well with a 1911 and has a hard time with a 220.
  2. Some non import marked SAKO Finnbears in manlicher stocks.
  3. My son has a Rossi also. When they get older all you have to do is order an adult stock.
  4. It is more of a police store. But they did do military also when we had to sew on patches. He carries some surplus.
  5. Nice rifle. What brand rifle and kind of EOTECH did you put on it.
  6. I have them both and each one has its merits.

    I need Help.....

Look at the Don Hume holsters on their website. My wife uses one of their JIT slides and a IWB. She states they are the most comfortable for her body. at the 2 or 4 o'clock position. They are also priced well. Got mine off of ebay.
  8. Eddie, I am truly sorry for your loss. You have my family's deepest sympathy and will be remembered in our prayers. Wayne
  9. Go for the CPO!!
  10. The certified pre-owned has been gone through by a factory SIG armorer. All worn parts are replaced and it comes with a warranty. Older SIG's had a metal seat for the main spring (hammer) the newer ones have a plastic seat. I have a few SIG's a couple courtesy of the Rabbi. I get to shoot M9's (92) all the time. It is way down on my list to own.
  11. Glock and most of the big companies have LEO pricing. Glock and most give the same discount to first responders and military. A Glock 19 is 398.00 with three mags. The catch is the only LEO dealer/distributor per for Glock is in Knoxville.

    Kids and guns

Drill Sergeants, Recruiters are not allowed tattoo's that show when wearing Class B's (Short sleeves) They are getting real bad on this. None that can be seen while in uniform. Lots of women get them at the nape of the neck. When they put there hair up per regulations they are visible. They check this at MEPS. No-Go. But the way good job on your children. I know I'm proud of their service.
  13. Welcome to the Dark Side. Just kidding. I have had a G19 for about 12 years. On that note I also have a HK P9. I have several SIG's. I believe they all have certain merits. But the G19 goes with me more often than not. Have fun.
  14. CDNN Investments has them for 33.99. I believe shipping is only 9.99 now matter how much you order from them.
  15. Are you sure in your time as a Pharmacy Tech in the Army you didn't partake in the goods?
  16. I understand a lot now. I attended the old 300-F1 course in the 70's. But most of my time was at Camp B, for goat lab.
  17. Congrats and give us a range report.
  18. I guess things have changed since I was at Ft. Sam. Were you a 91? series mos?
  19. Kwik, what kind of AIT were you in that you had dorms?
  20. Got my P6 from Rabbi yesterday. Could not be happier. Thanks for the links.
  21. Rabbi, you are right about these thing once you get to court. The process is being arrested, going before a magistrate, making bail, getting a laywer then having your day in court.
  22. All that is true once you get to court for your defense. Ask the LEO's on this board if they care at the initial finding of the stolen property. I bought it from some guy is not going to get it.
  23. We are not talking about selling a used lawn mower. Some stated the DA would have to prove his case. The issue is what leads up to the point that the charges would go to the DA. I don't know about the TBI but the GBI in Georgia is ruthless and efficient. They did not ask my friend, they took him to their local office to get a statement. He even had a receipt. They copied the receipt then took his statement. They had him come back to identify the person he got it from. They were polite to him. But very intense. Those were his words. Without the receipt he was in possession of a stolen gun. They informed him he would of went to jail without it. Saying I purchased it out of the newspaper was not going to fly.
  24. I can understand the way some of you feel. My best Friend a many years back took a gun to get repaired. While it was at the shop he was notified by police(came to his house) that the gun had been stolen. Without the bill of sale he would have been arrested. He had to go twice to the PD to fill out statements. He was told that a list is sent to gun/ pawn shops of stolen guns. That these places are audited by the state. It was a gun/pawn/gunsmith shop in Dekalb County, GA. I just remember he had bought it FTF out of a newspaper ad. It had been stolen a few years before. The person he bought it from had purchased it out side at a gun show and he didn't know. I was a huge mess.
